<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of 10 point guards in the Class of 2022 that have been getting the job done this season. These are good small college prospects that are making big contributions to willing teams.</p>

Jeremy Paige (Van Horn): A 6’0" point guard is having an excellent season after helping Van Horn to a Class 5 Final Four berth last season. He makes his teammates better while being able to get a bucket himself. He is currently averaging 12.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists while making 44 3-pointers.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="984944" first="Larry" last="Abbey"] (University City): The creative 5’10" standout is a four-year starter who has been dropping the dimes and displaying his ball-handling wizardry since he entered the program. He is averaging 18.6 points, 5.7 assists and two steals a game for the Lions.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1180833" first="Jace" last="Trimble"] (Platte County): A 5’10" floor leader who is one of the best at distributing the ball. He is currently averaging 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 3.1 steals for a 17-2 Platte County team.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="985428" first="Kyle" last="Bruce"] (Blue Springs): The 5’8" floor general has been running the show for the Wildcats for the past three seasons. He is a major part of his team’s 17-4 season as he averages nearly 10 points and three assists a game while making 44 3-pointers.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="984946" first="Cohl" last="Vaden"] (Webb City): The 5’10" is the leader in multiple sports as he was Webb City’s quarterback on another state championship football team. He has been the Cardinals’ starting point guard for three seasons. He has good quickness and burst to penetrate into the lane and he compliments it with 3-point shooting range.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1180607" first="Jaisten" last="Payne"] (Moberly): A very smooth 5’10" scoring point guard who can get buckets in a variety of ways. He’s has blow-by quickness and he can stop and pop with the pull up jumper. He is currently averaging 23.8 points a game while shooting 47 percent from the field. He’s also made 40 3-pointers.</p>

<p>Lawson Beem (Skyline): The 5’10" point guard has scored more than 1,500 points in his career and he has a Final Four under his belt, which he participated in as a sophomore. He plays with excellent pace with the ability to score at all three levels. He can also distribute the ball very well.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="993519" first="Jaden" last="Betton"] (Wentzville Liberty): The 6’0" Betton has been an excellent two-way performer for the past four seasons. His quickness and defensive instincts are very good. He is averaging 16.4 points, 3.2 assists and 2.5 steals. He just became the school’s career leader in steals.</p>

<p>Darian Webb (Poplar Bluff): A 5’7" floor leader who is one of the best in the SEMO area. He is capable of controlling a game with his speed and quickness in the open court. He can also knock down 3-pointers if defenders back off of him. </p>

<p>Nate White (Seckman): The 5’10" White is an expert floor leader with a high basketball IQ and the ability feed his teammates the ball in their right spots. He is averaging 6.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 3.4 steals a game.</p>

<p>Gaige Pitts (Thayer): A 6’0" point guard who has been a big part of three district championship teams and this year’s current Class 3, No. 1 team. He is averaging 10 points, 4.7 rebounds and three assists a game while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.</p>

<p>Isaiah Payne (Jennings): A thick-bodied point guard who has been a stalwart in the Warriors’ lineup since he was a freshman. He is currently averaging 12.7 points, four assists and two steals a game while shooting 36 percent from 3-point range.</p>
