<p>2022 Rankings have been updated and published. Here we take a deeper look into newcomers. These are players that would have been slotted in our rankings system somewhere if we were able to get out more often; Because of restrictions our abilities were hampered somewhat. Here at PH we make every effort to see as many players in NorCal play as we can.</p>
<p><em><strong>Nick Zboray 6’1 SG of Ponderosa.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Zboray</strong> </em>was one of the main stays on a Ponderosa team that went 27-1, 12-0, recently eliminated from post season. <em><strong>Zboray</strong> </em>averaged 21.4pts, 5.9rebs. per game. He’s a smart player with limited mistakes, using screens and savvy to get open looks. He can turn a close contest into a blowout with his abilities to make 3ptrs with a hand in his face.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1377193" first="Kyle" last="Winters"] 6’3 SG of Marin Catholic.</strong></em></p>
<p>We saw Winters in the early part of the season. He brings energy along with a solid body who can be a tough guard to handle when he gets things going. He has a quality jump shot he can hit from mid-range all the way out from behind the 3pt line. He runs, and moves well on the court. He was a big reason why Marin Catholic went 21-8, 14-2 in league. </p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1328848" first="Breland" last="Reed"] 6’4 SF of Edison Stockton</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Reed</strong> </em>has made steady improvement in his senior season, not too long ago he was seen as one of the top defender in the 209, he still is a top defender, but he’s added some scoring, he’s averaging 9.9pts and 6rebs a game. He’ll rebound, fill the lanes, finish strong going into the paint, and he shows the toughness you want to see.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1380678" first="Ben" last="Murphy"] 6’0 SG of Miramonte</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Murphy</strong> </em>doesn’t get enough credit for his contributions to a team that’s 23-4, 9-3. He’s on a team with 3 other players who are big contributors in their own way. Murphy has been a solid performer adding 11.3pts a game. He has long range shot making abilities, a good floor runner and a solid passer. </p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1376454" first="Tyrece" last="Daniels"] 6’0 PG of Sheldon.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Daniels</strong> </em>is a slick handled guard with good speed, and the ability to get past defenders, and into the paint. He’s been a steady guard for this team starting or coming off the bench. He can get things going with a steal, a nice assist or knocking down a 3 in the corner. He’s a quality passer with good court vision.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1377273" first="Majer" last="Sullivan"] 6’7 F/C of Antelope</strong></em></p>
<p>A big body player who sets hard to get around screens. He’s a big target in the post, hard to stop on the low block. His footwork is okay, he’s effective in pick and roll situations. He can hit the elbow jumper. He uses his body well at this level. He’s been a consistent player on a 23-6, 10-2 team. He’s in the double-double club, 12.3pts, 10.2rebs.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1377407" first="Donovan" last="Morgan"] 6’3 W/F of Sheldon</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Donovan</strong> </em>has one of the most consistent elbow jumpers we’ve seen, He seems to make them whenever we’re in attendance. He’s a little under the radar, but is a productive player on this team. Being 6’3 with a strong body he can make taller player work for points. He’s a key rebounder and will score points in and around the paint.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1279210" first="Ryan" last="Conroy"] 6’2 CG of Saint Ignatius</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Conroy</strong> </em>has been a consistent player for SI the last few seasons. He’s solid combo guard with the ability to run an offense, he can score when getting into the paint, he’s a good shooter from 3. He does a solid job in the open court with the ball, making good decisions on whether to shoot or pass. </p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1376450" first="Shemar" last="Cook"] 6’3 G of Alameda</strong></em></p>
<p>He’s a been a productive player for his team playing on the wings and in transition, he can get to the basket, finish above the rim, he’ll throw it down if there’s a clear path. He’s good going up high off two feet in the paint. His long arms and active hands help generate steals on the defensive side of the ball.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1376451" first="Dylan" last="Golan"] 5’10 PG of Northgate</strong></em></p>
<p>A strong guard with a solid build with good handles and the ability to run an offense. He likes to push it in transition looking to go all the way if a defender doesn’t step in. He’s in attack mode a lot, even when off the ball coming from different angles to get into the paint. He’ll challenge defenders. He’s a feisty on ball defender. 8pts a game.</p>
