How long have you guys been a team, and what are something that you try and teach your players or your foundation?
This is a rather new team in the terms of being a “team” this group has only been together as a whole for about 5-6 months. We have been around as a youth program for 3 years now.
Our foundation as a program is on the defensive side of the ball as well as the basic fundamentals of the game. We really focus on this as a program. We feel this is what players get the least amount of work on as they mostly focus on offense in trainings. We strive and preach a teamwork first approach and for our players to play as a unit on both sides of the ball. We stress a strong desire for our players to be committed and to be loyal before they have fun.

What are somethings as a coach you’re learning with this
I have learned a lot I’m young but I’ve been coaching for a little over 12 years now and you have to approach every team ,situation and player you coach differently to maximize the most out of them and at the end of the day to make sure we are not only developing these kids to be better players but better people that can contribute to society positively.
