Daniel Steverson Daniel Steverson 6'2" | SG Cleveland | 2025 #315 Nation NM Guard “Cleveland” Class of 2024
Sophomore Guard Daniel Steverson Daniel Steverson 6'2" | SG Cleveland | 2025 #315 Nation NM has had an excellent season so far averaging 14.6 points per game through 13 games this season. His play has helped #4 Cleveland advance through the first two rounds of Metro. During the Quarterfinals vs #5 Highland the top team in the 4A Class with a impressive 7-2 record, he scored 25 points in the game. Cleveland defeated Highland 76-68 and Daniel took the game over on both ends of the floor. He went 7/8 from the free throw line and hit a pair of three pointers in the game. His play helped Cleveland advance to the Semi finals this Friday January 7th vs the #1 seed Volcano Vista.
Marquise Renfro 6’1 Guard “Atrisco Heritage” Class of 2024
Marquise Renfro has had a huge impact for Atrisco Heritage this season and is a huge factor in why this team is 10-1 this season. He has brought energy, defense and his scoring ability to one of the top teams in New Mexico. His play continued during their Quarterfinals showdown with #11 Del Norte. Atrisco Heritage defeated Del Norte 71-48 behind Marquise’s 17 points which led the team. After a slow first half, he scored 15 in the 2nd half and exploded in the third quarter. He made three consecutive three pointers on three straight possessions for Atrisco Heritage. His play helped lead Atrisco Heritage to the semi finals this Friday January 7th vs #2 La Cueva.
Kenyon Aguino Kenyon Aguino 6'7" | PF Volcano Vista | 2025 State #257 Nation NM Forward “Volcano Vista” Class of 2025
Volcano Vista freshman provided some much needed energy off the bench in their Quarterfinals match-up vs #8 Rio Rancho. After trailing for most of the first half, Kenyon came in off the bench and dominated with his inside scoring and rebounding. He scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He had two and ones in the first half to cut their deficit to 1 at halftime. He went 4/6 from the free throw line and was key to Volcano coming back to win the game 73-57. He was selected as the player of the game with his play. Volcano Vista the number one seed will face the number four seeded Cleveland Storm in the semifinals this Friday January 7th.
Daniel Jacobsen Daniel Jacobsen 7'2" | C Brewster Academy | 2024 State New E 6’10 Center “La Cueva” Class of 2024
La Cueva’s big man Daniel Jacobsen Daniel Jacobsen 7'2" | C Brewster Academy | 2024 State New E was a dominant presence for the Bears in their Quarterfinals victory over #10 West Mesa. The La Cueva Bears defeated the West Mesa Mustangs 71-46 behinds Daniel’s double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. He shot 7/8 from the field and controlled the paint offensively by finishing his layups and getting offensive rebounds. He also hit some mid range jump shots outside the paint which made him unarguable at his size. His play helped La Cueva advance to the semifinals this Friday and they will play against #3 Atrisco Heritage.
