With a few teams finishing up pre-season play and a few others starting region play, we take a look at some of the prospect really putting it all out with their performances.

Loosing Effort

6’1 G [player_tooltip player_id="1115952" first="Nash" last="Matheson"] || Brighton High School || 2024 ||

How about that, [player_tooltip player_id="1115952" first="Nash" last="Matheson"] goes off for 43 point as they fell in region play to Skyline. This kid has really been putting up some crazy numbers. Nash is currently leading the state in scoring and he has our attention.

6’5 F James Gardner || Hunter High School || 2022 ||

James had himself a game as he posted a double-double and he was really a bright spot for Hunter as he was solid near the basket.

6’3 G Josh Spiers || Uintah High School || 2022 ||

Josh inched his way closer to that illusive 1,000 point club as he should reach that in the next 2-3 games. Josh has been lights out for a few years now and he showed some that in a 31 point performance. He hit 5 three’s in his last outing.

6’2 G [player_tooltip player_id="968100" first="Will" last="Green"] || Jordan High School || 2022 ||

Will has been a solid guard all year long and he is putting up some nice numbers as he has 21 to open region play. With a true green light Will might have a few games where he goes off.

Winning the Day

6’1 G [player_tooltip player_id="942593" first="Yorgio" last="Golesis"] || Skyline High School || 2023 ||

Yorgio had himself a game as he scored 29 points in a win and he has really showed some skill at all three levels. Yorgio needs to be recruited by every local NWAC looking for a scoring guard that can be on and off the ball.

6’2 G [player_tooltip player_id="1128939" first="Hunter" last="Schenck"] || Weber High School || 2024 ||

Hunter is starting to get it going again and this time he was huge in a win where he knocked down 5 three-pointers. Hunter has really proved that he can light up the scoring stat sheet. Nice prospect in that really good Class of 2024.

6’4 G [player_tooltip player_id="934508" first="Noah" last="Widerburg"] || Cottonwood High School || 2022 ||

Noah will be a steal for a very smart assistant coach that comes and watches this kid play. He has a good motor and a simple scoring niche. He is one of the guards that has cottonwood trending in the right direction.

5’11 G [player_tooltip player_id="1057037" first="Cooper" last="Lewis"] || Lehi High School || 2024 ||

Copper has really started to hit a good stride, especially out in the perimeter where he has some crazy range. Cooper is one of the best shooting guards in that Class of 2024. Could make Lehi scary moving forward.
