Prep Hoops SC Showcase

<p>Prep Hoops was back at it again this past weekend in the Upstate at Greenville HS. The Prep Hoops SC Showcase took place over at Greenville HS. The event was initially scheduled for 6 games but dropped down to 3 games with Covid-19 problems in the way. Let’s take a look at the results from the day before breaking the players. </p> <p><em><strong>Blue Ridge HS defeats St Joseph’s Catholic (Greenville) 59-24 </strong></em></p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/01/F159E960-69C5-409B-92F6-72C99C72DF66.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1363078" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/01/F159E960-69C5-409B-92F6-72C99C72DF66-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p>The Blue Tigers jumped to a 24-6 lead and never looked back at all.<strong> Demitre Hall</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="721026" first="Justin" last="Bailey"]</strong> led the way with 15 and 13 points respectively for Blue Ridge HS. The Blue Tigers move to (13-3) on the season in Class 3A. </p> <p><em><strong>Berea HS defeats Keenan HS  68-61 </strong></em></p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/01/467429FB-EB58-49AB-B704-250EAC49B9B5.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1363069" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/01/467429FB-EB58-49AB-B704-250EAC49B9B5-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>UNSIGNED Senior [player_tooltip player_id="795990" first="Semajeh" last="Echols"]</strong> did the best he could do keep the Raiders in the game with his 18 points. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865331" first="Chrisean" last="Oree"]</strong> added 15 points while senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1363060" first="Marquece" last="Williams"]</strong> added 11 points. The Raiders trailed most of the game after being down by 10 points got it back to 49-46 with 6:00 minutes left in the game. </p> <p><strong>UNSIGNED Seniors</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="594036" first="Savion" last="Brown"]</strong> led the way for the Bulldogs with 19 points while teammate <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1363061" first="Ezell" last="Dodd"]</strong> also dropped 19 points in the win.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="837339" first="Jaheim" last="Dodd"]</strong> recently rejoined the team added 18 points before fouling out. </p> <p><em><strong>Irmo defeats Mauldin HS 66-47</strong></em></p> <p>The Yellow Jackets and Mavericks were tied at the halftime break 30-30. The Yellow Jackets took over in the second half and outscored Mauldin HS 20-7 in the 3rd quarter. The Yellow Jackets moved to (13-2) on the year.
