<p>Now that Christmas has passed, here at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania we take an in-depth look at the local Pittsburgh area high school basketball players who "keep on giving" into the New Year for their teammates. These young men not only put points on the scoreboard, but they also rebound well, dish out timely assists, and utilize their quick hands for a good amount of steals during a four-quarter contest. They continue to hover around "triple-double numbers" this season. With the three-point shot dominating the game of basketball on every level and the lack of quality defense, it has become a bright spot in our region that some top performers still place a high priority on showcasing an all-around performance on the hardwood. Let’s check out these hard-working student-athletes that have impressed us with a balanced attack on both ends of the court for their teams thus far this season...</p>

<li>A complete basketball player in every sense of the word who possesses the desire to win </li>
<li>He will "light up" the scoreboard, but also makes creative assists in the transition to help his team</li>
<li>Adou has a good amount of Division 1 interest and holds some offers as well</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>This top player likes to create opportunities not only for himself but his teammates throughout a contest</li>
<li>His balanced attack causes havoc for opponents during all four quarters</li>
<li>LA has committed to take his talents to the Pittsburgh based Duquesne University</li>
</ul>

<li>A quality all-around hooper that brings hustle and heart every Tuesday and Friday night </li>
<li>He shoots very well from the perimeter and likes to distribute the ball to his teammates</li>
<li>Alexander has garnered attention from small colleges for his play thus far this winter</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>He can score in a variety of ways throughout a game while rebounding well and dishing out timely assists</li>
<li>An extremely high efficient performer that strives to do his best on both ends of the court</li>
<li>Damon is starting to accumulate small college offers this season with his consistent performances</li>
</ul>
<p>Makhai Valentine / 6’3 / wing forward / junior / Steel Valley High School</p>
<ul>
<li>This athletic and prolific scorer exudes a tremendous amount of confidence on the hardwood</li>
<li>His vertical jumping ability makes him a force on the glass as well</li>
<li>Makhai will definitely play basketball at the next level if he chooses that route</li>
</ul>

<li>His quickness and fast hands create problems for his opponents on the defensive end of the floor</li>

<li>Bryce is being recruited at the small college level as a junior</li>

<li>Quinton is a D1 football recruit but has the talent to play basketball at the next level</li>
