Bethea did the best he could to keep his Wildcats in the game vs the Hartsville HS Red Foxes. Demarco finished the day with 19 points and 14 rebounds in the opening round game. Bethea a versatile forward needs to play better through contact. He can float outside on the perimeter and knockdown the 15-17-foot jump shot. Demarco has a long wingspan and would be an ideal rim runner at the next level.

Tristan LeXander Tristan LeXander 6'1" | CG Hartsville | 2022 State SC - Hartsville HS

LeXander really came to play today for the Red Foxes. Tristan a Fayetteville State University (NC) (NCAA D2) signee finished with 19 points in the win for the Red Foxes.

Valerian Bruce Valerian Bruce 6'3" | SF West Florence | 2022 State SC - West Florence HS

Bruce is like a bull in a china shop at times. Valerian lacks a true position on the floor but really provides winning plays for his team. He will collect rebounds on both ends of the floor and post up smaller players down on the block. Bruce has quick feet to get bigger post players while running the floor very well and filling the lane.

Austin Harrell Austin Harrell 6'0" | SG North Augusta | 2022 State SC - North Augusta HS

Austin is finally back after battling some back issues. Harrell came up big today knocking down some three pointers and popping off screens for open looks. Austin is attracting some recruitment on the football side of the ball according to his father and Head Coach Tony Harrell.

Zykee Knox Zykee Knox 6'0" | CG Hartsville | 2022 State SC - Hartsville HS

Knox is a pure pass first point guard for the Red Foxes. Zykee is never in panic mode while on the floor and plays with a great demeanor at all times. He is a crafty passer and really keeps the ball low to the ground and close to the vest while rarely turning it over. Knox finished with 8 points and 6 assists today according to my stats.

Shamontae Burgess Shamontae Burgess 5'11" | CG Lake City | 2022 State SC - Lake City HS

Burgess leaves it ALL OUT ON THE FLOOR at all times. Shamontae doesn't take plays off with his toughness and grit at all times. He will sacrifice his body for a loose ball or taking a charge on call. Burgess does most of his scoring the ball on the way to the cup. Shamontae came into the contest averaging 18.3 ppg for the Panthers while finishing with 11 points today.

Keyon Adams Keyon Adams 6'3" | SG Marlboro County | 2022 State SC - Marlboro County HS (Bennettsville)

Adams kept the Bulldogs in the game vs West Florence HS today by scoring 19 points. Keyon really came to life in the second half playing aggressive to the cup and knocking down perimeter jumpers. Can Adams help the Bulldogs make another magical run like last to a Class 3A State Championship come March?
