As the class of 2022 plays its senior season, plenty of new players are showing their value to their teams, earning consideration for the Prep Hoops rankings. Among the 17 players added to the latest update of the rankings are five players that could be considered ‘bigs.’

Check out these new forwards and posts added to the 2022 Rankings:

52 [player_tooltip player_id="1372654" first="Kee’on" last="Hutton"], 6-foot-3, small forward, 2022, Wichita Northwest:

Hutton transferred to Northwest from Sioux City (Iowa) West, where he averaged 16.7 points as a junior. He’s made a huge impact on the talented but undersized Grizzlies, giving them length and athleticism from the wing. His lanky frame and gliding style lead to a lot of plays on the run and at the rim. He can put the ball on the floor and get to the goal. He leads the ranked Grizzlies with 14.8 points per contest.

54 [player_tooltip player_id="1372655" first="Kellan" last="Boylan"], 6-foot-7 forward, 2022, Miege:

Miege turned over a ton of elite talent after winning the state title last season. Boylan stepped into that void and has made an enormous impact in his senior season. He is Miege’s top big man to team with its fine guards. He turns in a double-double nearly every night, showing off good hands and fundamentals, plus the athleticism to run and jump at a high level.

108 [player_tooltip player_id="1372659" first="Ryan" last="Feldkamp"], 6-4 forward, 2022, Jefferson North (pictured):

One of the leaders of a really good Chargers team the past couple of years, Feldkamp is an ultra-productive power forward. He’s solidly built and a beast in the lane. He is averaging about 18 points per game this year, and just topped 1,000 points in his career. His junior season totals were 16.3 points and 6.6. boards per game.

110 [player_tooltip player_id="1372661" first="Kaden" last="Harding"], 6-foot-5 forward, 2022, Chaparral:

The long, lean Harding is a part of an athletic and productive front line for the Roadrunners. He runs hard and hunts down opportunities to use his explosive athleticism. He’s contributing 10.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, and gives his team a jolt of energy with his rim rattling dunks.

154 [player_tooltip player_id="1372922" first="KJ" last="Miller"], 6-foot-4 center, 2022, Royal Valley:

While the Panthers waited for [player_tooltip player_id="891912" first="Nahcs" last="Wahwassuck"]’s eligibility status to be sorted out, they didn’t just sit around. They bulldozed their way to second in the 3A rankings, and Miller led the way. He topped the Panthers in scoring and rebounding, as their long and powerful force in the paint. Miller has soft hands and is great at positioning himself to receive passes close to the goal. He is averaging about 15 points and will be a real tough option for defenses to limit.
