Farmington vs. Davis

Did Layton crack that armor that Davis has been wearing this season? We will find out today as the top ranked player in the state faces off against the best team in the state. A lot fo story lines in this game as a new rivalry is born. [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"] will take a young team that will not be a favorite to war with Davis who is the favorite and there will also be a matchup of two friends that are club teammates in [player_tooltip player_id="934473" first="Rex" last="Sunderland"]. The difference maker for Farmington might be [player_tooltip player_id="766863" first="Devin" last="Day"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1057024" first="Paul" last="Beattie"] as they look to score when given the opportunity. On the other side if Davis goes cold like they did to open region play up they might struggle to finish this one off. Davis needs [player_tooltip player_id="968040" first="Max" last="Painter"] easy buckets and Sawyer Cotrell to nail open shots. Coby Simms could be huge as well. Should be an insane atmosphere full of talent all over the floor. Must watch game.

Skyridge vs. American Fork

One of the pre-season favorites in American Fork looks to get back to health and dominance. Skyridge on the other hand is playing with house money as they have surprised a lot of people with their play. The prospect that has been surprising is [player_tooltip player_id="967723" first="Nick" last="Holland"] as the savvy PG has been carving up the competition. [player_tooltip player_id="968113" first="Colby" last="Carter"] has also gotten in the mix as the big guard has had some excellent games. American Fork is back at full-strength as [player_tooltip player_id="934491" first="Evan" last="Young"] and [player_tooltip player_id="967707" first="Yaw" last="Reneer"] have been holding it down. With [player_tooltip player_id="934024" first="Aaron" last="Dunne"] back and [player_tooltip player_id="934486" first="Noah" last="Moeaki"] AF could really step on the gas at the right time. This is a game that has a lot of sleeper prospects and stock risers.

Bingham vs. Pleasant Grove

The #2 and #3 RPI teams set to go head to head today and these two teams have different styles. PG plays different zone defenses and they always switch things up. Bingham on the other hand usually play defense and are usually good at it. The biggest task at hand will be if Bingham can figure out a way to guard [player_tooltip player_id="1127199" first="McCaden" last="Adams"] who has been stellar this season. he is really stock rising as he does play on both ends of the floor. Bingham will need to crack their zone and they will rely on [player_tooltip player_id="968084" first="Kam" last="Dupaix"] who plays all over the floor. He will be a prospect that can play every position. Also, look for [player_tooltip player_id="968083" first="Devin" last="Carlson"] to have a big game if Bingham wants to protect their home court.
