New Life Christian Junior [player_tooltip player_id="1062097" first="Malachi" last="Travis"]: With his team struggling to find any type of offensive production, he stepped up and led the way, scoring a game high of twenty-three points. He has a gift for scoring the ball at a high level and will be a prospect that gains more attention as he shows his ability to play the PG spot as well.

Pine Forest Junior Wing [player_tooltip player_id="854901" first="Jordan" last="Jones"]: Another player that has embraced his new role this season and has helped take his squad to another level. Offensively he’s more of a player that makes an impact from midrange but on defense he’s embracing playing inside the paint when his team needs him to and being a player that’s productive on the boards.

Terry Sanford Junior Guard Carlos Craig: We really like the impact that he made on both ends of the floor and how he finds his offense within the flow of the team. He doesn’t try to play outside of his skillset too often, and he does a nice job of using his athletic tools to make plays on the defensive side of the ball.

Southview HS Senior [player_tooltip player_id="1124941" first="Cedavion" last="Wimbley"]: With his team facing a deficit early on, he caught fire and was able to help cut the deficit. He’s the type of player that can score a high number of points in a small span of time when he gets hot.

Freedom Christian Senior Guard Zy McLean: Another player that has makes an impact for his team in numerous ways, he provided some scoring, but his positive leadership was just as valuable. Regardless of what was going on, he looked to get others involved, communicated well and stayed positive even when his team faced a large deficit.

Terry Sanford Senior Forward Jackson Link: After a slower start to the season, he seems to be turning the corner as he shows some flashes of what we saw during the Fall. He scored the ball at a solid rate and mixed it up inside the paint.

Berean Baptist Academy Senior Forward John Butler: Standing at 6’2 but playing inside the paint, he is at an obvious height disadvantage in most matchups, but his motor allows him to make plays at a nice rate. He does a nice job of boxing out and using his athletic ability to grab rebounds and finish above the rim.
