Learic Davis Learic Davis 6'7" | SF Milwaukee Bradley Tech | 2022 State WI – 2022 – G/W – Bradley Tech
Davis went for 27 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two blocks in Tuesday’s win. The transfer portal seems to be killing a lot of prospects and Davis is no exception. This is still a highly intriguing player that’s very unique and shouldn’t have trouble finding a home — especially at the mid-major level. But you can understand why smaller Division 1 programs would be hesitant to get involved with Davis, who has about as high of a ceiling as it gets, knowing how many top mid-major players end up jumping ship in a few years or less. The 6-foot-7 senior, who can play 1-through-3 and spends most of his time at the point, is a freak athlete with a budding perimeter skill set. A game-changer in the open floor, Davis is a runaway freight train in transition. He’s more than just a human highlight reel through. Davis has an advanced feel for the game and facilitates at a high level, much better in the halfcourt than people give him credit for. He’s still streaky as a jump shooter, but is shooting 36 percent from beyond the arc this season. Defensively, he can also make game-changing plays by jumping the passing lanes and chasing down plays in transition.

Jayquan Hickles Jayquan Hickles 6'5" | PF Milwaukee King | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PF – King
A reason why he have Hickles ranked as high as we do — he knows what he is and how his skills will allow him to be successful. Hickles is an undersized forward, but plays to his strengths as a strong kid with solid post footwork and a high motor. Hickles came up with 16 points for the Generals in their loss. King will often make it a point of emphasis to dump the ball inside and let Hickles work. He’s got an excellent drop step. When double teams come, Hickles keeps his feet, doesn’t panic, and can put his shoulder down and move multiple bodies to get a look at the rim. Hickles is also a tough defender 1-on-1 on the block and can control the glass. He understands positioning, how to move people, and
James Hughes – 2022 – G – Bradley Tech
Hughes is the Patrick Beverly version of Wisconsin high school basketball. The senior guard is an irritant who gets under your skin. You love it when he’s on your team, but hate facing him. Also, nobody plays harder than Hughes. He not only comes up with the majority of 50-50 balls, Hughes is often the one creating those scramble situations. He’ll stick his face in the fan, battle until the whistle, and fire like a heat-seeking missile when there’s an opportunity to create a turnover. Hughes finished with seven points, three rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in Tuesday’s win. He also had a key three-point play late in the game to help the Trojans hold off King.
Mauryon Turner Mauryon Turner 5'11" | SG Milwaukee King | 2023 State WI – 2023 – SG – King
Turner scored a team-high 22 points, including 19 in the first half. The junior guard went on a huge surge after it looked like the Generals were going to get run out of the gym. A long, athletic, smooth wing, Turner really glides to the rim and covers a lot of ground with ease in the open floor. He can also catch and shoot from the perimeter and knock down shots off the bounce a little bit. Turner was very effective against the zone and press, finding gaps, splitting the defense, and getting into high percentage areas. Like the versatility of Turner as well. King plays him a bit at the point and he’ll be the primary decision-maker at times. Turner’s length and lateral quickness also allows him to defend multiple positions.
