2022 6-10 C [player_tooltip player_id="1231790" first="Delva" last="Chedlet"] – Cumberland Christian

[player_tooltip player_id="1231790" first="Delva" last="Chedlet"] will draw attention with his size. He shows flashes of offensive upside. He’s not very explosive off the floor, but he does move well. Delva takes advantage of his size and finishes through contact. He has a baby hook which he implements in the lane. Chedlet tallied 15 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 blocks against Etowah.

2022 6-6 F [player_tooltip player_id="1139775" first="Deterrius" last="Clayton"] – North Gwinnett

The skill set is there for Duke Clayton. He’s a mismatch on offense. He can shoot the three and create off the dribble, but also loves to use his big burly body to overpower opponents on the low block. Clayton has a nice hook shot and scored with a post spin move into a fadeaway. The southpaw has quick feet for his size and can beat his man baseline when spinning off. Deterrius understands who he is as a player and doesn’t try to block everything in his sight and instead will sacrifice his brick wall of a body to take charges. He finished with 10 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks in an OT win over Eagle’s Landing.

Carter is a tough-nosed garbage guy. He bangs inside and does the dirty work battling the size of opposing frontlines. Carter seals hard inside and finishes with both hands. He’s a rugged offensive rebounder.

Into Grayson from Valdosta, football being his top sport, [player_tooltip player_id="1364595" first="Kylan" last="Fox"] brings invaluable effort and toughness off the bench for the Rams. Fox has an elite frame. He did a great job of carving out space on the offensive glass against Windsor Forest and provided a spark with his putbacks. If he begins developing some post moves, Fox could become a serious dual sport option at the next level.
