<p>A few early games in tournaments underway saw some highlight performances across the classes. Here are some early standouts:</p>
<p>6A</p>
<p>Cooper Scheck, 6-foot guard, 2022, Dodge City:</p>
<p>Scheck is having a stellar senior season and should be a riser in the updated Prep Hoops rankings this winter. Scheck went for 32 points in a blowout win over Liberal in the Tournament of Champions. He’s hitting 58% of his 3-point attempts this season.</p>
<p>4A</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="891909" first="Christian" last="Bowen-Webb"], 6-foot-2 guard, 2022, Miege (pictured):</p>
<p>A holdover from that great Bishop-Miege team from a year ago, Bowen-Webb scored 17 points in a win over Chanute in the Ralph Miller tournament in Emporia. Bowen-Webb eclipsed the 1,000 point mark in the game for the third-ranked Stags.</p>
<p>3A</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1080163" first="Eli" last="Sawyers"], 6-foot-5 forward, 2023, Southeast of Saline:</p>
<p>Sawyers has been a highly regarded prospect since day one, and he showed why with 24 points on 10-14 shooting in a win over Hutch Trinity in the Sterling Tournament.</p>
<p>2A</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1080178" first="Britton" last="Dutton"], 6-foot guard, 2023, Ellinwood:</p>
<p>It’s rare a 21-point night hurts your scoring average. Dutton went for 21 in the opening round of the Hoisington Tournament in a tough win over Cimarron. He dropped numerous three-pointers, but amazingly saw his 26 per game average take a drop.</p>
