Buzzer Beaters Making Waves

<p>When the day started yesterday there were a few teams that seemed poised to run the table because they have some solid prospects holding it down. The day did not end as planned for two teams at the Top of the RPI.</p> <p><strong>Davis Goes Down</strong></p> <p>6’0 SG [player_tooltip player_id="1206792" first="Boston" last="Hadley"] who is averaging 1 PPG this season had 10 points last night but non better than his last two. Davis was running a matchup zone and Hadley got the ball on the right wing and in a catch and rip he bet the help side defender on the other side of the rim to win the game at the buzzer. Hadley could be a new piece of the puzzle as another player that can provide quickness off the bounce and some additional shooting out in the perimeter. Unlikely hero that will turn into a likely option. </p> <p><strong>6’3 G [player_tooltip player_id="1115931" first="Hunter" last="Hansen"] || Fremont High School || 2024 ||</strong></p> <p>Solid in a low scoring game as he plays a good pace and he is precise. </p> <p><strong>6’6 G Henry Ihrig || Davis High School || 2022 ||</strong></p> <p>Henry was able to use his length and skill to get to the rim and get good looks. Smooth high IQ player that can score at most spots all over the floor. Henry does a good job of finding open spots in the defense. </p> <p><strong>6’5 SF [player_tooltip player_id="968040" first="Max" last="Painter"] || Davis High School || 2022 ||</strong></p> <p>Max is so solid down on the blocks. When he gets touches he usually converts. Max makes the best of broken plays and his role. Nice touch and finishing ability against contact. </p> <p><strong>Down Goes Orem</strong></p> <p>6’6 PF<strong> Etano Foster</strong> another unlikely hero that can in to the game averaging 3 PPG. Tano was able to convert on a tip in with two seconds left as he sent the visiting crown into a frenzy with the unlikely bucket. Etnao is a big body that usually provides interior defense and easy makes near the rim came up huge with and athletic play off of a a miss off the backboard. </p> <p>With Timpview struggling from the field they had a team effort as they got good games from Andrew Keck and James Oldroyd. </p> <p><strong>6’7 C Ethan Stoddard || Orem High School || 2022 ||</strong></p> <p>Ethan had a solid game as he was hard to stop against an undersized team. He was able to beat the swarm of defenders that collapsed most times. </p> <p><strong>6’2 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1127234" first="Nick" last="Clark"] || Orem High School || 2022 ||</strong></p> <p>Nick had another solid game as he continues to show he is one of the best PG prospects out there. </p>
