[player_tooltip player_id="993520" first="Messias" last="Dockery"] (Park Hill South): The 5’11 2022 guard was the main catalyst in South’s 70-59 victory over St. James Academy. He got things going early and he could not be stopped. Whether it was penetrating drives to the basket, transition layups or 3-pointers, he had it all working for him. He finished with a game-high 22 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

[player_tooltip player_id="984502" first="Rob" last="Martin"] (CBC): The 5’10 2022 was stellar in scoring a game-high 20 points in the Cadets 58-52 victory over Staley in a battle of two of the state’s top Class 6 teams. L’il Rob is starting to see double teams when he crosses half court, but he adjusted to have a big second half. Not only does he have elite speed with the ball, he can change gears at any time to throw defenders off. He also hit a pair of 3-pointers off the bounce to keep defenders loose.

[player_tooltip player_id="1070094" first="Kyan" last="Evans"] (Staley): The 6’1 2023 point guard scored a game-high 18 points against CBC as he engaged in an entertaining dual with the Cadets’ [player_tooltip player_id="984502" first="Rob" last="Martin"] in a battle of stellar guards. He’s athletic with a high basketball IQ and the ability to control pace. His 3-point stroke is also nice as he drained a couple of them from deep.

Sammie Hall (Park Hill): A 5’9 2022 lefty who is a solid pass-first point guard with good quickness. He distributes the ball well and he will hit the 3-pointer when he is left open. He is also solid on the defensive end.
