810 Varsity Showcase: Top Frontcourt Players

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top forwards from last weekend’s 810 Varsity Showcase, which was played at Staley High.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/07/John-Bol.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1239336" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/07/John-Bol-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1125608" first="John" last="Bol"] (CBC): The 7'2" 2024 was able to showcase his athleticism and freakish shot blocking ability on the West side of the state. He finished with 10 points, which included a few impressive rim-runs, a put-back dunk and an alley-oop slam. He has his 3-point stroke going early as he knocked down three early triples to get his team rolling. He was really active on the defensive end playing low post denial defense and he worked hard to block out for rebounding position of every possession. You can do a lot with him on the offensive end with his versatility. You can post him up and he’ll get you a bucket in the post.
