Four big games today that we need to pay attention to. Not only does it feature some top teams but it also features some surging teams. Everyone listed below has some next level talent. Should be a night where the top prospects show up.

Farmington vs. Fremont

Farmington is playing well as they are getting more production from the pieces around [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"]. With that said Collin is locked in as he is scoring 20+ but he is working hard to get those numbers. When [player_tooltip player_id="1057024" first="Paul" last="Beattie"] and [player_tooltip player_id="766863" first="Devin" last="Day"] put up numbers his assist go up and their chances of winning do as well. Paul has been really nice 15-feet and in. Devin can provide some slashing and outside shooting. Team needs to create more scoring opportunities for Chandler to be one on one.

Fremont is coming off of a huge win as they did everyone in region a favor as they knocked off Davis. [player_tooltip player_id="1115931" first="Hunter" last="Hansen"] has been a stud scoring in various areas and he is growing up quickly as his game is maturing. [player_tooltip player_id="1142816" first="David" last="Calvert"] has some strength he can use down on the block. This game should have major implications moving forward.

Key Players: [player_tooltip player_id="1057024" first="Paul" last="Beattie"] (Farmington). [player_tooltip player_id="968052" first="Dakota" last="Argyle"] (Fremont)

Layton vs. Davis

This week Davis lost in a game where they were really limited because their opponent held the ball on their possession for long periods of time. It really took Davis’ out of sync. Davis was held to 48 points and they face a Layton team that gave them a run in their last meeting. [player_tooltip player_id="934473" first="Rex" last="Sunderland"] will need to pick up more of the slack now that Sawyer Cotrell might be out for the season. Rex is capable as is [player_tooltip player_id="968050" first="Colby" last="Simms"] who can really light it up. Look for Davis to be more aggressive this time around.

[player_tooltip player_id="1192222" first="Connor" last="Wilson"] will be a player to each as he will likely be marked by [player_tooltip player_id="934473" first="Rex" last="Sunderland"] but if he gets going earlier than last time Layton has a good shot at the upset. Look for [player_tooltip player_id="1057041" first="KJ" last="Miller"] to have a good showing as well.

Key Players: [player_tooltip player_id="968050" first="Colby" last="Simms"] (Davis), [player_tooltip player_id="1057040" first="Mekhi" last="Martin"] (Layton)

Bingham vs. West Jordan

Bingham is on a roll and they are arguably one of the most complete teams in the state as they are led by [player_tooltip player_id="968084" first="Kam" last="Dupaix"] as he is playing at a high level on both ends and [player_tooltip player_id="968083" first="Devin" last="Carlson"] who provides hight and athleticism on both ends as well.

West Jordan could be a problem as they play so fast and they shoot so many three’s. [player_tooltip player_id="934507" first="Logan" last="Prince"] has been consistent an he is a killer in a catch and shoot. There are 9 players that can step in and nail a three. Justhin Hurtado has also been really good at the top of the key nailing long balls.

Key Players: Esafe Taufahema (West Jordan), [player_tooltip player_id="968087" first="Tyler" last="Newbold"] (Bingham)

Pleasant Grove vs. Corner Canyon

PG has made it to the top after a challenging schedule. [player_tooltip player_id="1127199" first="McCaden" last="Adams"] continues to play at a high level and he is getting some good play from [player_tooltip player_id="1199505" first="Isaac" last="Garrett"] and [player_tooltip player_id="934022" first="Michael" last="Mitton"].

Corner Canyon rolled in their last game as they are getting a healthy [player_tooltip player_id="1056969" first="Brody" last="Kozlowski"] but they will need [player_tooltip player_id="934040" first="Max" last="Toombs"] to keep playing at that high level he has been.

Key Players: [player_tooltip player_id="1199505" first="Isaac" last="Garrett"] (Pleasant Grove), [player_tooltip player_id="968111" first="Jaiden" last="Feroah"] (Corner Canyon)
