1.Juan Diego Catholic

Juan Diego remains in the top spot regardless of their latest loss as it came to a really good Westlake team. It is apparent that the Soaring Eagle have the best big in the classification and they are looking to get their guards to increase their level of play. [player_tooltip player_id="934026" first="Zuriel" last="Marquez"] is starting to shine as a PG and off-guard as he can do a little bit of everything. [player_tooltip player_id="1114374" first="Malick" last="Diallo"] is a tough cover as he can play all over the floor. Juan Diego is going to be tough to knock off. Especially if a team cannot figure out their zone.

2. Grantsville

Grantsville will start the year with one defeated and they have a really good roster of players across the board. They had a tough performance against San Juan.[player_tooltip player_id="967694" first="Carter" last="Killian"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1192006" first="Tate" last="Allred"] have been pacing the Cowboys all year long. Really think they can challenge the two private school sin the classification.

3. Layton Christian Academy

Layton has been getting really good play from their guards and they are really tough and long on the wings and in the front-court Souleymane Barro has been good but they have so many players on the roster that can come in and be productive.

4. Morgan

Here they come as Morgan is starting to put a run together as they only have one loss this year. They have a balanced scoring attack but [player_tooltip player_id="1192294" first="Nixon" last="Ordyna"] has been unreal this season as he is putting up 17 PPG. This could be a team that can get hot real quick from the outside, especially against a zone. Look for Morgan to really improve this year.

5. Manti

Manti is one of the better coached teams in 3A as they always find ways to compete regardless of who graduates and who is on the roster. The record that they currently have doesn’t tell the whole story as the Templars have a three-headed monster that can score the basketball. Logan Porgoszeweski has been good all year ling but he is joined by Reggie Frischkencht and Kayson Douglas. With one loss to Morgan and the rest to teams in a higher classification Manti will be battle tested.
