<p>With the high school basketball season just getting underway, it’s time to show some love to some players that have been putting up big time numbers so far this season. Lots of these guys aren’t household names around the state but should be getting more love.</p>
<p>First off, in northwest Ohio, Findlay commit [player_tooltip player_id="1297217" first="Mason" last="Brandt"] has been sensational for Leipsic so far this season. Brandt is scoring over 25 a game so far this season and has his team at 3-1. [player_tooltip player_id="1346941" first="Isaac" last="Roeder"] recently became the all-time leading scorer for Monroeville, who currently sit at 5-0 this season.</p>
<p>Moving to southwest Ohio, [player_tooltip player_id="921793" first="Anthony" last="Johnson"] has been getting it done for currently unbeaten Kettering Fairmont. He’s currently leading the GWOC in scoring at 22 PPG. Elijah Givens has been going off for Hamilton and currently is second in the GMC in scoring at 21.4 PPG. [player_tooltip player_id="967172" first="Ryan" last="Chew"] has also been getting it done for unbeaten Kettering Alter, scoring 15 PPG and dishing out 5.3 assists a contest as well.</p>
<p>In the Central Ohio area, [player_tooltip player_id="921770" first="LA" last="Walker"] is a guy that I personally saw drop 35 on Hilliard Davidson and is currently scoring over 25 PPG for Linden-McKinley. Clayton Rhyne has been putting up big time scoring numbers for Amanda-Clearcreek, scoring 53 points in two games last week and was nominated for 270 Hoops player of the week.</p>
<p>In northeast Ohio, [player_tooltip player_id="1340513" first="Darius" last="Davis"] from Parma is scoring 32.3 PPG to lead the 4-0 Redmen. [player_tooltip player_id="921802" first="Clayton" last="Cunningham"] is getting it done for Euclid as the senior guard has scored 33 points and 41 points in games already this season. [player_tooltip player_id="1195161" first="Dave" last="Miller"] is another guard having a great start to his season, the Maple Heights senior is averaging 26 PPG and 4.2 APG.</p>
<p>We’ll continue to be looking for players that are stuffing the stat sheet as the season progresses.</p>
