Haralson Makes Fishers History
There arguably was not a team that had a better day than Fishers yesterday as they went up to the Carroll-Homestead Classic and beat both Homestead (50-48) and Fort Wayne Carroll (82-58). However, the story that came out of that yesterday was that Fishers freshman guard Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN dropping a game high 43 pts in the Carroll game which set an all time single game scoring record for the program. Haralson is one of the most exciting 2025s we have in the state with offers already by IUPUI, Indiana, and Maryland. It is very, very scary to think that Haralson is already putting up numbers like this as a freshman, which goes to show you how special he is. Up next, Fishers will compete in the Huntington North Tournament on 12/29.
Connersville Stays Unbeaten
There is arguably not a hotter team in the state right now than the 3A Connersville Spartans. They have are undefeated having won their first 8 games and have beaten those teams by at least 9 pts. Last night they dominated Greenfield-Central 55-34 which saw 2023 F Lucas Barron Lucas Barron 6'4" Connersville | 2023 IN drop a game high 19 pts. His teammate, 2022 PG Tobey Billups Tobey Billups 6'0" | PG Connersville | 2022 State IN added 8 pts and 5 asts. On the Greenfield-Christian side, 2023 PG Dylan Moles Dylan Moles 6'3" | PG Greenfield-Central | 2023 State IN scored a team high 9 pts and 5 rbs. Up next, Connersville will look to stay unbeaten as they host the Connersville Tournament on 12/23. Greenfield-Christian will host Eastern Hancock on 12/28.
McDurmon Goes Off
Last night saw an overall shocking win as the 2A Evansville Mater Dei completely dominate 4A Evansville North 73-55. Although there were some high scoring from multiple players in this one, there was not a better performance from 2023 W Luke McDurmon dropping 29 pts, 18 of those being from the 3PT line, with 5 assts, and 6 rbs. A few of his teammates had great scoring games as well with Peyton Lee and Mason Wunderlich dropping 14 pts each. The Wildcats are now 2-4 on the year so far with a few weeks off before they host Gibson Southern on 1/4/22. Evansville North, 4-3 record now, will be competing in the Lebanon Tournament on 12/28.
