<p>Week 2 is underway and we have got a big slate of high school hoops going on this week in Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at some highlights of Tuesday’s night of hoops. </p>

<p><b>High Scoring in Jasper-Evansville Bosse Game</b></p>
<p>Last night saw a very high scoring game where 4A Jasper remained undefeated beating 3A Evansville Bosse 76-71. This game saw 7 different players score in double figures with Bosse’s [player_tooltip player_id="1158192" first="Taray" last="Howell"] leading the game with 27 points while his teammate, <strong>Jameer Ajibabe</strong>, was the second leading score with 23. On the winning side is where the other 5 double-digit scorers showed up as the <strong>Carter Mundy</strong> scored a team high 21 followed by <strong>Connor Foley</strong> with a 15 point,16 rebound double-double, <strong>Tanner Erny</strong> with 15, <strong>Gus Heichelbeck</strong> with 13, and <strong>Grant Young</strong> with 10. With this win, the Jasper Bulldogs move to 2-0 but have a tough road matchup when they travel to Loogootee this Saturday (12/4). Evansville Bosse will be at Boonville this Friday (12/3). </p>
<p><b>Essegian Breaks School Scoring Record </b></p>
<p>Along with an absolute dominate victory over 1A Hamilton 76-10, [player_tooltip player_id="769682" first="Connor" last="Essegian"] of Central Noble broke the all time school scoring record beating Sydney Freeman’s record of 1,741 points only 12 seconds into the game. Essegian, our #7 ranked player in the 2022 class and Wisconsin commit, came into the game with 1,740 points and with a 33 point performance, he now stands at 1,773 total. Essegian has been on an absolute tear so far this season and is proving why he is in the conversation of winning Mr. Basketball. Right now, he is well on his way to eclipsing the 2k mark in points. Central Noble will host 3A Angola this Friday (12/3) </p>
<p><b>Northrop beats New Haven behind Jackson double-double </b></p>
<p>2022 PG [player_tooltip player_id="870219" first="Jalen" last="Jackson"] (Illinois-Chicago commit) went off last night with a 32 point, 13 rebound double-double that helped lead his team, Fort Wayne Northrop, over New Haven 61-51. Ever since transferring to Northrop from Carroll (Fort Wayne), he has been on a roll scoring 84 points in his last 3 games. Other notable performances from Northrop saw both [player_tooltip player_id="1049189" first="James" last="Mallory"] (10 pts, 9 rbs) and [player_tooltip player_id="1272953" first="Dalman" last="Alexander"] (9 pts, 9 rbs) almost having a double-double themselves and <strong>Jaydon Smith</strong> with 6 points and 8 rebounds. With the win, the Bruins move to 2-1 and will travel to Fort Wayne Luers next (12/10). New Haven, now 0-2, will host Blackhawk Christian this Friday (12/3). </p>
