<p>Friday and Saturday saw some nice performances from some of KC’s finest:</p>
<p><strong>Immanuel Campbell</strong>, 6-foot-4 forward, 2023, Bishop Ward:</p>
<p>Ward took its first loss of the season at the hands of Sacred Heart. But Campbell continued his fine work with 4-6 shooting for 9 points and grabbed 4 boards. The junior is averaging 9.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game so far this year.</p>
<p><strong>JD Roane</strong>, 6-foot-1 guard, 2022, Blue Valley North:</p>
<p>Roane has waited to carve out a bigger role for the defending state champs. He scored 10 Friday in a win over Blue Valley Northwest. Roane also tallied 3 rebounds and 3 assists. He’s a long and explosive athlete who can do a lot of things, including play the point, or guard bigs and crash the boards.</p>
<p><strong>Carson Schwieger</strong>, 6-foot-8 forward, 2022, Blue Valley Southwest:</p>
<p>The Schwieger twins tied with the scoring lead for Blue Valley in a 53-40 win over Desoto. Carson threw in 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He is averaging over nine rebounds so far in the undefeated season.</p>

<p>Cooper is shooting a really nice 68% from the field and is averaging nearly 12 per game. On Saturday against Desoto, he accounted for 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1080169" first="Aiden" last="Wing"], 6-foot-4 forward, 2023, Miege:</p>
<p>Wing led the way to a tough 69-64 win over Jefferson City Helias Boys. The big forward shot it well, hitting 6-8 from the field and 4-4 from the line. Miege had a balanced attack Friday with four others in double figures.</p>
