Players to watch: (South Florida)

[player_tooltip player_id="1055758" first="Dylan" last="Burrowes"] - Fort Lauderdale

2024 [player_tooltip player_id="1055758" first="Dylan" last="Burrowes"] is a prospect with upside given his body and frame. The 6-foot-7 forward is averaging 9.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 41 percent from the floor. Furthermore, Burrowes has a pair of double-doubles on the season. Against Taravella, he had 23 points and 11 rebounds (seven offensive) while shooting 10-of-19 from the floor. I think Burrowes just needs to continue to work on his efficiency around the rim.

Kaseam Purkiss - North Miami Beach

2022 Kaseam Purkiss has been efficient for North Miami Beach. The 5-foot-10 guard is averaging 11.4 points and four rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the field. Moreover, Purkiss is 13-of-34 (38 percent) from deep. Against Carol City (7-3), he had 11 points and three 3-pointers. In another game against Miami Edison (5-2), Purkiss had 16 points and eight rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id="709252" first="Jermaine" last="Freeman"]/[player_tooltip player_id="1065495" first="Jaylan" last="Coats"] - North Miami

Freeman and Coats are two prospects that encompass a strong North Miami team. The 6-foot-5 Freeman is averaging 9.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.1 steals and three blocks per game while shooting 61 percent from the floor. Against LaSalle, he had eight points, eight assists and 12 rebounds. I think that stat line shows Freeman's versatility. The 6-foot-4 Coats holds a similar line with 11.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game while shooting an impressive 75 percent from the floor. North Miami is 13-2 overall with both players in the fold.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295940" first="Gregory" last="Spate"] - Coral Springs

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1295940" first="Gregory" last="Spate"] has a college ready frame at 6-foot-6. Spate can score like a guard or rebound like a forward. He has nice range and obvious length to attack the rim. Basically, you're looking at a kid who is averaging 20 points and seven rebounds per game. He holds multiple D-1 offers, including Chicago State and NJIT.
