Amon Fowlkes – 5’8” / Collegium Charter / 610 City / Combo Guard: This summer at the Philly HS Live event Fowlkes displayed excellent shooting, solid court awareness, next level quickness and superb defensive skills. During the early part of this season, it has been those defensive skills that have earned Fowlkes 15-20 minutes a game as Collegium Charter’s 6th man. According to Head Coach Markel Jones, “On defense he takes the responsibility of guarding the other team’s best ball handler when he comes in.” Coach Jones also noted Fowlkes (2.5 spg.) has recently started to click on offense as well.
Donovan Fromhartz – 6’4” / Downingtown West / East Coast Power / Wing: Fromhartz is a long and athletic wing whose scoring has been a significant boost for D-West early on. He can drain threes or get points in transition. This freshman will also catch opponents by surprise with his ability to play above the rim. Fromhartz has started a couple games and recently posted 12 points (2 threes) in a win over Coatesville as well as 8 points in a win vs. Avon Grove
Josiah Hutson – 5’8” / Cheltenham / Hunting Park Warriors / Point Guard: Arguably the breakout star in southeastern Pennsylvania’s 2025 group, Hutson is a starter who has already posted two 20-point games. He knocks down threes and can blow by a defender with the dribble for lay-ins. As a bonus, he is an on-ball menace at the defensive end. Hutson is a prospect to watch closely going forward
Shareef Jackson Shareef Jackson 6'9" | C Roman Catholic | 2025 State #249 Nation PA – 6’6” / Roman Catholic / Team Jacko / Wing: It should come as no surprise that the No. 1 ranked player in Pennsylvania’s Class of 2025 contributed nicely for Roman’s deep and talented varsity team. With superstars Daniel Skilling (Cincinnati), Kahlil Framer (Hofstra) and Xzayvier Brown Xzayvier Brown 6'1" | PG Roman Catholic | 2023 State #233 Nation PA doing the bulk of the scoring, Jackson is playing the hard-nosed, hustling glue guy role this season. He is averaging around 13 minutes a game coming off the bench and recently posted 12 points along with 7 rebounds in a victory against Bishop Loughlin (NY). for such a young prospect Jackson owns polished scoring skills and footwork so we expect his contributions to continue to trend upwards.
Jaron McKie Jaron McKie 6'2" | SG St. Joseph's Prep | 2025 State #74 Nation PA – 6’1” / St. Joseph’s Prep / Team Jacko / Combo Guard: McKie is a long and fluid athlete who can run as a point man or shooting guard. So far this season for SJP, McKie has received the bulk of his minutes (20+ per game) at shooting guard and the results have been incredible. He is averaging 12 ppg., scored a season high 21 points in a win vs. West Philly and is shooting a ridiculous 62% from three (8/13). McKie is quickly becoming a legit scoring threat I the PCL.
Kai Shinholster Kai Shinholster 6'5" | SG Penn Charter | 2025 State #133 Nation PA – 6’3” / Penn Charter / K-Low Elite / Shooting Guard: Shinholster’s reputation as a lethal 3-point shooter is well deserved. However, this high school season he has also showed the ability to score off the dribble and that he is a solid rebounding guard. Shinholster’s high basketball IQ and poise really separate him from the pack of talented prospects in SEPA’s Class of 2025. He is a starter for Penn Charter and recently contributed 12 points vs Abington Friends; 12 points (4 threes) vs. Freire Charter and 6 points (2 threes) vs. Cardinal O’Hara. All three games were wins in PC’s incredible 10-1 start.
Nasir Williams – 6’0” / Sankofa Freedom Academy / NEBC Elite / Combo Guard: As the season tipped off, Williams was battling a football injury that hampered him. Once healthy, he managed to earn a starting spot in SFA’s lineup and was playing 20+ minutes a game before a Covid pause hit the program. During the early part of this season, Williams has displayed next level quickness and the ability to score from all over the floor.
