[player_tooltip player_id="1063225" first="Khawan" last="Bobbitt"] | 6’4 Guard | South Granville | 2023

Bobbitt stepped up in a big way to take on the lead guard spot and was pivotal on the defensive end of the floor. He posted 14 points and did well to set up teammates and get stops when needed to make an impact. His steal and layup with less than a minute to go gave the Vikings a 3-pt lead for good down the stretch.

[player_tooltip player_id="1340490" first="Aidan" last="Gass"] | 6’1 Guard/Wing | South Granville | 2023

Gass was a utility prospect off the bench for South Granville and came in handy in a variety of ways as a scorer, rebounder and cutter. He finished with 12 points, showing off his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter, find openings in the defense with the ball and crash the offensive glass. He’s another junior prospect to keep an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id="1340491" first="Tre" last="Taylor"] | 6’3 Forward | South Granville | 2023

Taylor continues to show his development as more than a physical presence in the paint. It seemed like every rebound that came his way was his, as he showed off his ability to do multiple things well on the floor. He was another pivotal name that stepped up in a big way for the Vikings with big 3-pointers, rebounds and assists. He finished with nine points including three made free-throws in the 4th.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046006" first="Jordan" last="Vick"] | 6’2 Guard | Southern Nash | 2024

Vick didn’t have the strongest shooting game offensively, but he didn’t let it phase him or his teammates as he willed his team to a comeback after trailing by 16 points at halftime. He scored 13 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, showing off his ability to take over in a hurry. He knocked down the final tip-in to bring his squad within a point within the final seconds, but in the end, they didn't prevail. His lockdown defending and athleticism was still on full display but S Granville did an impressive job of containing him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1340493" first="TJ" last="Taybron"] | 6’3 Guard/Wing | 2022

Taybron is a new face that turned heads with his ability to run either guard spot, shoot the ball and make plays for others. He was another standout for Southern Nash with 18 points (11 in the first half). When Vick was off in the first half, Taybron did his part to keep things within reach for his squad. He’s an impressive unsigned senior with a solid frame and length at 6-foot-3.

[player_tooltip player_id="1062096" first="Jackson" last="Vick"] | 63 Guard/Wing | 2022

Vick was a physical presence that kept Southern Nash close with his ability to rebound the ball, defend the paint and get to the rim on offense. While he’s headed to NC State for football, he’s certainly got the tools to compete on the hardwood with his ability to chase down blocks from behind and make an impact with his play outside of scoring the ball.
