6’5 New Madrid Central: The 2024 forward scored 10 points in the Eagles’ victory over Charleston in the semifinals. His athleticism and skill level enable him to impact the game at any spot on the court. He is a force in the low post and on the offensive boards with his strength and athleticism. The big lefty is also a good playmaker as he handled the ball for much of the game and facilitated offense. He plays a very unselfish game as he did a nice job of getting the ball to the hot hand while picking his spots to look to score.
PJ Farmer 6’0 Charleston: The talented 2025 point guard scored a team-high 14 points as he got his first taste of the very competitive SEMO Conference Tournament this week. He’s very poised and he is fearless for a player of his age. He doesn’t mind attacking the basket and he has the moves and the ability to finish well in traffic. He has good quickness and the strength and handles to beat pressure and drop off defenders on his way to the basket. This young baller will be a major factor in the SEMO area for a very long time.
Maurice Boyd 6’2 Cape Girardeau Central: A 2023 point guard who was kind of a revelation with his play last night in the semifinal victory over Jackson. He scored 10 points while playing a very controlled and smooth game. He has good length and he covered a lot of ground with each dribble on his way to the basket. He showcased a nice float game and an effective jumper in the lane.
