The RPI is out and there will be a lot of movement as teams have been playing some tough teams that have not helped them in the RPI despite the tough schedule and tough losses. in 6A there is no dispute that Davis is the team to beat, especially playing well with Henry Ihrig hurt.

In 5A The Top two teams should be Orem and Olympus so, that will surely change in time. No disrespect to any other teams, but having seen both teams a few times, they could be in the Top 5 easily in 6A.

4A has been one of the most unpredictable classifications as Dixie and Ridgeline are both looking up at Snow Canyon.

3A might get a rude awakening when Juan Diego and Layton Christian Academy start rolling, tough to see too many teams better than these two private schools that have international talent on their rosters.

2A San Juan was tough in football and now in basketball which is always a trend in the smaller school divisions. Keep an eye on Parowan.

1A Panguitch is back at it again as they are usually a basketball power in 1A.

6A Key Players

6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="934473" first="Rex" last="Sunderland"] || Davis High School || 2022 ||

Rex could lead his team all teh way to repeat as 6A Champions again.

6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="968781" first="Dylan" last="Jones"] || Westlake High School || 2022 ||

One of the best shooters with size in the West. Could be that player that upsets a higher seeded team.

6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="1127199" first="McCaden" last="Adams"] || Pleasant Grove High School || 2022 ||

McCaden will be battle tested and he is not going to be a fun player to prepare a defensive game plan for.

6’8 Jaden Feroah || Corner Canyon High School || 2022 ||

Sleeper college prospect that continues to improve. Will be a tough cover for any team. Look out he’s getting better.

5A Key Players

6’7 [player_tooltip player_id="1127232" first="Dane" last="Christensen"] || Orem High School || 2022 ||

Another sleeper prospect that is starting to get college attention. He’s really good.

6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="1057020" first="Jordan" last="Barnes"] || Olympus High School || 2024 ||

Often times forgotten on a loaded roster with college talent but Jordan can really play.

6’2 Nate Nadauld || Springville high School || 2022 ||

One the most surprising next level talents to emerge.

6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="934027" first="Mason" last="Bendinger"] || Woods Cross High School || 2023 ||

Mson is turning into a very talented scorer at all three levels.

4A Key Players

6’9 [player_tooltip player_id="1114374" first="Malick" last="Diallo"] || Juan Diego Catholic || 2024 ||

D1 player playing at a high level. Will get some crazy dunks all season long.

6’9 [player_tooltip player_id="934041" first="Lyman" last="Simmons"] || Snow Canyon High School || 2023 ||

Lyman is young and getting craftier on the blocks and in the mid-range.

6’2 [player_tooltip player_id="1191953" first="Risko" last="Brooks"] || Dixie High School || 2022 ||

A healthy Risko is going to be issues for everyone else.

6’1 [player_tooltip player_id="934474" first="Kaden" last="Cox"] || Ridgeline High School || 2022 ||

One of the best shooters in the state going against teams that play zone is going to be trouble.
