The Oscar Frayer Invitational was held on Saturday December 4, at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward California. 5 games, featuring high school players from the Nor Cal Region. Here’s the PH list of outstanding players from the days event.

Deundrae Perteete Jr. 6’6 Guard of Skyline HS 2024.

Perteete is a big guard with good handles to push the ball in open court. His vision, and passing skills were on display throughout the contest. As the game progressed, he became more aggressive attacking the rim and getting to the foul line. late in the game he asserted himself on the offensive boards with multiple rebounds and put backs. He finishes with 23pts, and 9 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id="1380771" first="Kellen" last="Torrey"] 5’11 Point Guard of California HS, 2023.

Torrey a quality point guard with good handles, and quickness. He has a good first step, he’s good at changing directions, and using stop and go moves to create shots for himself and others off the dribble. He’s very effective on the drive attacking from different areas using floaters, and pull-up jumpers in the key to get buckets. He has the footspeed to stay on ball handlers. 11pts, 5asts.

Jasper Zwolinski 6’2 Guard of Sacred Heart Cathedral HS 2023.

It was our first look at Zwolinski. He’s a well balanced player that got better as the game progressed. He did well handling the ball up top getting his team into half-court sets. He had good movements with a fast pace at times making him more effective to get his shots or continue on the drive. He had good shot selection to finish with 13pts.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376406" first="Tyler" last="Dutto"] 6’4 Guard of Miramonte HS. 2022

Dutto is a player we hadn’t seen before. He’s a big guard with a superb set of skills to effectively facilitate an offense. He handles it well and can go left or right on the initial attack. He has the vision and passing skills to deliver the ball to teammates in position to score. He plays on balance and can get into the paint.. His effect on the game went beyond scoring points. 4pts. He’s on the Wright Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376414" first="Devin" last="Carson"] 6’2 Guard of Deer Valley HS 2022.

Carson was the top scorer at this event 28pts. He displayed a variety of scoring moves from different angles on his way to the basket for buckets. The slick handling guard is good in transition, and decisive on the attack. He can pull up for 3’s, hit the mid-range off the dribble, and find open teammates. He’s in constant attack mode.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376405" first="Trey" last="Knight"] 6’0 Guard of Moreau Catholic HS 2022.

Knight took good shots, they just weren’t falling for him early. He had good strong moves getting into the paint for layups, and jump shots. To his credit he turned things around in the 2nd half scoring 16pts putting pressure on the defense by staying in attack mode to help his team mount a come back. He was the games high scorer with 22pts.

[player_tooltip player_id="947389" first="Isaiah" last="Kerr"] 6’3 Point Guard of St. Francis HS 2022

The Montana Commit gave us a glimpse of what’s expected from him this season. He took care of most of the ball handling duties, distributing and scoring when he saw the opportunity. He’s bigger and stronger and showing bounce we hadn’t seen in a while. He rebounded and pushed. He had strong takes to the rim, good vision in transition. He had 10pts
