Jamari Phillips Jamari Phillips 6'3" | SG Dream City Christian | 2024 State #20 Nation AZ 6’3 2024 Guard of Modesto Christian HS.
When you talk this class you have to always start with Phillips The #1 player in the Prep Hoops rankings and steadily moving up in the National Rankings. Phillips didn’t disappoint at this event. He had his shot falling from long, and short distance as he showed once again why he’s a highly regarded player from NorCal. 10-18 FG, 4-7 from 3-Ptr, 5-7 Ft, 29pts.
Alec Blair 6’5 2025 Guard of De La Salle HS.
We’ve seen Blair play a few times in this early season. The 2025 big guard has already impacted this team his first year on the Varsity. He has an advanced set of skills and plays with the confidence needed for a young player to be successful at this level. He was the teams leading scorer and won the Player of the Game Award, with his overall play. 6-13 FG, 1-3 from 3-Ptr, 3-4 FT, 8rebs, 2asts, 2stls, and 16pts.
Ahsan Huff Ahsan Huff 6'6" | PF Vanden | 2024 State CA-N 6’6 2024 W/F of Vanden HS.
Huff continues to raise his stock with his play. He’s long with good bounce, and is getting stronger. He can be an effective shot blocker, defender, and rebounder. He’s made steady improvement with his handles that enable him to play on the perimeter, as well as in the post. 1-1 FG, 9-12 FT, 13 rebounds, 3 blocks 11pts. He’s capable of being a double-double guy.
Steven Emeneke 6’9 2024 F/C of Woodside Priory HS.
It was our first look at Emeneke. He’s a long and agile player still on the raw side but has good upside. He works well trying to do things from the high and low post areas. He had some success using his length and dribble from the high post to get to the rim. He faces up pretty well and has the long arms to finish on block. He rebounds and runs the court. With continued development, and strengthening, hell raise his level of play. 3-4 FG, 1-1 from 3-Ptr, 7-8 FT, 3rebs, 2blks, 14pts.
Manasse Itete Manasse Itete 6'6" | PF Central Catholic | 2024 CA-N 6’6 2024 Forward of Modesto Christian HS
Itete is strong with a solid body, and a big set of hands. He moves with a purpose in and around the post, and seems to get better as the game progresses. He’s hard to back down in the post, and long enough to disrupt shots. He’ll be a key player in the post for this team. He has a good jump-hook, and powers ups for rebounds and put backs. 5-7 FG, 2-2 Ft, 5rebs, 12pts.
Jalen Stokes 6’4 2025 Forward of Dublin HS.
Stokes wasn’t a stat stuffer in his Varsity debut, he did start and wasn’t in awe of playing up with the big boys. He has good skills, and movement on the court. He takes care of the ball away from the basket, and he found a ways to contribute. He played good on ball defense and helped to defend bigger players. He’ll be a contributor. 1-4 FG, 1-4 FT, 3rebs, 2asts, 3pts.
Donez Lindsey 5’8 PG 2025 of Lincoln HS, Stockton
Lindsey did a good job playing the point guard position on a big stage. He started and was quite steady getting the team into half court sets, pushing the pace when he saw an opportunity, and being tasked to guard one of the top players on the court, using his footspeed and quickness. 1-4 FG, 2rebs, 1ast, 1stl and 2pts.
Ty Virgil Ty Virgil 6'5" | SG Supreme Academy | 2025 State #154 Nation AZ 6’4 G/W 2024 of Modesto Christian HS.
The long wiry Virgil has a versatile skill set, and and can create his shot off the dribble. He has a nice looking dribble drive jump shot with good lift on it. He has the range to knock down 3Ptrs. He has the capabilities to guard multiple positions and help on the boards. Consistency will be key to his productivity. 4-10 FG, 5rebs, 9pts.
Tyler Thompson Tyler Thompson 6'5" | SG Vanden | 2024 State #261 Nation CA-N 6’5 Guard of Vanden HS.
Thompson continues to define his skill set. He’s a talented player with the tools to play multiple positions on the court. He’s a good ball handler with good vision and passing skills. He’s a bit streaky when it comes to knocking down the long ball, but he finds ways to contribute. His defense and rebounding is improving.
