Aden Curry Aden Curry 6'5" | SF Santa Cruz | 2023 State CA-N 6’3 G/F 2023 of Santa Cruz
Cury was by far was one of the most productive players at this event. His numbers in 3 games were 56 points, 44 rebounds. In the championship game he lead his team with 24 pts. At 6’3 he’s a physical player that uses his body to battle inside for points, rebound, and defend. He’s much improved his perimeter game, with his strong takes from the perimeter, and comfort shooting the outside shot.
Tim Netane 6’5 G/F 2022 of Saint Francis
Netane, the two sport athlete has gotten football out of his system and has established himself as one of the better players on the court in any given game. His play fueled the Lancers to the title. His versatile style of play, which includes ball handling, passing (4) assists, scoring inside, defending, while getting his rebounds were all on display. He was the MVP of the event. 13pts, 6rebs, 2blks.
Kosi Warren-House 6’1 G 2022 of Santa Cruz
Warren-House surprised a few when he threw down a two handed dunk with bodies hanging on him, we didn’t know he had that kind of hops. The athletic House will be a key contributor to this team. He’ll challenge you at the rim. Hell get after you on the defensive side of the ball, and he’ll help on the boards. His improved handles, and athleticism makes him a constant threat in the open court. 11pts.
Byran Lundy 6’2 G 2022 of Saint Francis
Lundy plays a solid floor game whenever we see him. He’s not the flashy type, his numbers don’t jump out at you. What he does is defend long and short, he has the size and footspeed to defend multiple positions. He can get his jumper in the paint. He’s a good rebounding guard. 8pts, 4stls, 4rebs.
Sabastian Chancellor 6’1 PG 2022 of Palo Alto
Chancellor has been a consistent performer all season long for this team at the point guard position. He’s an high IQ playmaker with good vision to see the whole court. He feeds the post, as well as making the long strong pass up the court. He’s good at the cross court pass, and can penetrate to create openings.
Lucas Black 6’3 F 2022 of Palo Alto
Black is the undersized big man for this team. He’s bulky and has some strength to play physical inside. He was aggressive going after rebounds and points in the post area. He has nice drives and passes from the high post. He had 13pts and 9 rebounds to help his team get third place at this event.
Andrew Chen 5’9 G 2022 of Cupertino
Chen put together a good all around performance in the game we saw. He was aggressive with the ball, looking for his opportunities to score off set screens, back door cuts, and hard drives for pull-up jumpers in the paint. He scored 17pts.
Thomas Motil 5’10 SG 2023 of Saint Francis
Motil is emerging as a player who has to be accounted for behind the 3-Pt line. He has good form, and shoots in rhythm, and stands a good chance of knocking down the 3 if left unattended. He had a 4-point play late in the game to help. He plays with good energy on the court. 10pts. He did a good job running point in the second half of the title game.
