<p>Taking a look at some of the players in the Wichita Area that have gotten off to a great start this high school season. The area is loaded with talent and seeing everyone at least once this year is a must, between the well rounded teams, star studded teams, and large talent pool, the Wichita area is filled with high quality play this year. <strong>Stats being shared, recorded, and information being shared out on media outlets helps, so if your school is not doing any of these things encourage their participation in these matters, as seeing everyone consistently is a tough task. </strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1139932" first="Dylan" last="Petz"], 6’2 G, Newton, 2022: Although the team is struggling out of the gates, Petz has done a bunch in the scoring aspect of the game to try and keep his team in ball games. Over the last two games he has scored a combined 58 points including a 35 point game against the 5A state defending champs Maize in which he hit 8 three pointers. Petz is a sniper from behind the arc.</p>

[player_tooltip player_id="1080180" first="Jack" last="Voth"], 6’5 F, Buhler, 2023: Has taken the reigns from former teammate [player_tooltip player_id="889463" first="Max" last="Alexander"] with full force, dominating games in the scoring, rebounding, and defending areas. Voth has been scoring at a high level with extreme efficiency including a 23 point effort on 9-11 shooting from the floor, a 19 point effort, and a 27 point ball game. He has hit clutch shots all season long and has come up big time becoming a more physical presence as well.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1080189" first="Eli" last="Shetlar"], 6’5 G, Andover, 2023: Shetlar’s evolution from an elite knockdown catch and shoot player to an elite over guard is continuing in tremendous fashion this season. Andover has picked up some huge wins this year and Shetlar has helped spearhead things on the offensive end, scoring 19 a game on 53% shooting from the field and a scorching 55% from the 3 point line. Combine that with 3 assists and 8 rebounds a game, and you have yourself an elite guard over at Andover. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="946254" first="Kyle" last="Grill"], 6’5 PG, Maize, 2022: The point guard for the defending champs has been on a mission to get his team off to a good start and aiming to repeat. He has sprinkled his name all over the stat sheet to start the year and brings great leadership to the pg spot. To start off he is averaging 16 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals a game.</p>

<p>Cater Sinclair, 6’4 F, Classical Wichita, 2023: Sinclair has helped gotten Classical off to a 3-1 record to start the year averaging 12 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. The junior is showing off some versatility knocking down 3 of 5 threes this year, but has made a living in and near the painted area and is shooting a whopping 62% from the field.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1080181" first="Kellan" last="Simoneau"], 6’1 G, Rose Hill, 2023 (Pictured): Simoneau is off to a hot start this year highlighted by a 19 point effort and a 32 point outburst against two quality opponents. He has been knocking down the 3 ball at a nice clip hitting multiple in each game this season and has made play after play in transition. Has done a great job at getting deflections and steals on the defensive end as well including a tremendous 8 steal game. Simoneau kind of flew under the radar before the season but he has come out hot and should be back on notice. Currently averaging 24 points and 7 rebounds a game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1080170" first="Kobe" last="Smith"], 6’1 Point Guard, Andover Central, 2023: The junior guard has been one of the best point guards in the area to start off the season. Has played with great pace, aggressiveness, and athleticism to start the year and has made massive impact on games, especially in scoring the ball when getting down hill. Has an 18 point game and started off his career at Andover Central with a 26 point outburst. </p>
