American Fork High School went to the prestigious Damien Classic which has some top talent form California and other areas. American Fork held their own and as they get healthier we expect their top prospects to start to shine just at the right time as Region will get underway shortly. With players like [player_tooltip player_id="934486" first="Noah" last="Moeaki"] back and [player_tooltip player_id="934024" first="Aaron" last="Dunne"] as well it has opened things up for [player_tooltip player_id="934491" first="Evan" last="Young"] who had a good tournament as well as [player_tooltip player_id="967707" first="Yaw" last="Reneer"]. [player_tooltip player_id="968107" first="Adam" last="Rawson"] was tough in a lot of games a she is out there cleaning things up. Keep and Eye on American Fork because [player_tooltip player_id="934486" first="Noah" last="Moeaki"] will bring some additional ball handling which will allow players like [player_tooltip player_id="969235" first="Ashton" last="Wallace"] to get more open looks from deep. [player_tooltip player_id="934024" first="Aaron" last="Dunne"] will attract a lot of attention down on the blocks which will free things up in the perimeter as well.

Skyridge High School went down to Phoenix to the Cactus Jam and they sure improved as they got inspired play from one of the best PG’s out there in [player_tooltip player_id="967723" first="Nick" last="Holland"]. [player_tooltip player_id="968113" first="Colby" last="Carter"] was great inside and out as he has some really good size as a guard. Really like the emergence of [player_tooltip player_id="1045919" first="Bryson" last="Bailey"] who can turn into a project at the right school. Skyridge is going to be battle tested and tough going into region play. Skyridge went 3-1 and is one of the teams that not too many people are talking about. Frankly they have a lot of talent on the team and they are well coached. Look for them to make some noise.

Lone Peak High School flexed their muscles at the Damien Classic as well as they won their division championship with some really good all-around play. Mackay Tanner and Dallin Tadji were outstanding in their run. Look for lone peak to sneak up on some teams with their guard line from top to bottom. [player_tooltip player_id="1116137" first="Luke" last="Fatheringham"] has also been outstanding.
