<p>The early signing day is here and many of the top players in Ohio’s 2022 class have officially put pen to paper on where they will be playing college basketball at.</p>
<p>The top of our rankings has high major point guards in [player_tooltip player_id="616810" first="Sean" last="Jones"] and [player_tooltip player_id="787627" first="Sencire" last="Harris"] making it official at Marquee and Illinois respectively.</p>
<p>Other prospects committed to high majors programs are [player_tooltip player_id="921744" first="Evan" last="Mahaffey"] (Penn State) [player_tooltip player_id="809590" first="Josiah" last="Harris"] (West Virginia) [player_tooltip player_id="1138750" first="Sage" last="Tolentino"] (Cincinnati) [player_tooltip player_id="809612" first="Tom" last="House"] (Florida State) [player_tooltip player_id="921738" first="Bowen" last="Hardman"] (Ohio State) and [player_tooltip player_id="809619" first="Antwone" last="Woolfolk"] (Rutgers)</p>
<p>Some of the more notable uncommitted prospects include [player_tooltip player_id="1219809" first="Mike" last="Sharavjamts"], [player_tooltip player_id="616817" first="Paul" last="McMillan IV"], [player_tooltip player_id="1128342" first="Jamal" last="Sumlin"] and [player_tooltip player_id="809598" first="Roderick" last="Coffee"].</p>
<p>Mid major programs have already signed numerous prospects from Ohio. Toledo and Ohio University with a pair of Ohio prospects, [player_tooltip player_id="921759" first="Javan" last="Simmons"] and [player_tooltip player_id="717039" first="Cooper" last="Davis"] will be Rockets while [player_tooltip player_id="809624" first="Elmore" last="James"] and [player_tooltip player_id="809621" first="Ajay" last="Sheldon"] are Bobcats.</p>
<p>The Horizon League has a lot of commits from Ohio, with [player_tooltip player_id="1045456" first="Drey" last="Carter"] heading to Wright State. Danny Young and [player_tooltip player_id="809600" first="Ramar" last="Pryor"] going to Cleveland State. Sonny Johnson Jr is committed to Detroit.</p>
<p>Finally, a couple other prospects who signed their national letter of intent this afternoon to Division I programs were [player_tooltip player_id="809602" first="Jacob" last="Conner"] who is headed to Marshall, [player_tooltip player_id="921749" first="Michael" last="Bova"] who is going to Bellarmine and [player_tooltip player_id="921764" first="Ben" last="Southerland"] to Liberty.</p>
