Underrated Players from West Central Idaho

<p>Taking us back across the state, west central Idaho is home to the rolling Palouse and big sky country. The openness of the plains is reminiscent of old pictures showing hay bales and big clouds in the sky. Time seems to be nonexistent in this region and the pace of life grinds to a halt. That being said, there are still some really talented basketball players who call this region home and find time to expand their skills even while taking time to stare out at the open expanse. Continue reading for a look at some of the most underrated basketball players from west central Idaho.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="921095" first="Slade" last="Sneddon"], Orofino:</strong> Slade is one of the most underrated players in the state from this area and he does a great job of helping his teammates be put into positions to be successful. Sneddon has proven himself over and over again to be a high level teammate who constantly makes the right reads and decisions at the right times. He is a past-first player who loves setting his teammates up and he is always making sure that he contributes to their wins in a variety of ways. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1108095" first="Nolan" last="Bartosz"], Genesee:</strong> Nolan is a great player who truly defines the idea of heart over height. Bartosz does a great job of playing to the best of his abilities night in and night out and he is constantly in the conversation for being the best player in any given game. He can score at all three levels and is never afraid to stick his nose into the middle to fight for loose balls and rebounds. Nolan has shown glimpses of being a star player at Genesee and he will use the upcoming season to truly breakout and become a name known around the state.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1108093" first="Austin" last="Curtis"], Clearwater Valley:</strong> Curtis is slowly putting together a great high school basketball career and will look to add a great next chapter during the upcoming basketball season. Curtis is a high level talent who can score really well and has worked hard during the offseason to greatly improve his outside shooting. Next season, he will look to stretch the floor with his deep shot making ability while also helping create more room on the floor for his teammates to operate. Watch for Austin to have a great season this year.</p>
