Here are the top available 2022 prospects in Somerset County.

[player_tooltip player_id="901961" first="Ryan" last="Petit"], 6’2 SG Rutgers Prep

Petit is fresh off a strong summer session with the NJ Panthers and is looking to carry it over into the winter. The 6’2 lefty has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Petit moves exceptionally well off the ball and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands. He is willing to take a charge on defense and dives on the floor for loose balls. Petit is a gritty shooting guard prospect who makes winning plays when his team needs it.

[player_tooltip player_id="901990" first="Ryan" last="Curry"], 6’0 PG Montgomery

Curry is set for a strong senior season as he looks to lead the way for the Cougars this season. The 6’0 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get by his defender and make plays in the lane. Curry has a good shooting stroke and does not rush his shot in the half court. He slides his feet on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Curry recently picked up an offer from Army, which should help his confidence heading into his final varsity season.

[player_tooltip player_id="901978" first="Quadir" last="Harrell"], 5’10 PG Bound Brook

Harrell returns to run the show for the Crusaders and is primed for a strong senior season. The 5’10 guard is tough to contain off the bounce with his good handle and his quick first step. Harrell is more than just a slasher as he has a quick release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He is a leader on the floor as he knows how to get his teammates involved in the half court. Harrell is a tough lead guard prospect who is looking to lead Bound Brook deep into the postseason.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013060" first="Logan" last="Blake"], 6’7 PF Delaware Valley

Blake is one of the more underrated forward prospects in the Garden State and is looking to put his skillset on display this season. The 6’7 forward plays with good footwork down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Blake has a good faceup game as he can put the ball on the floor and his range extends out to the three-point line. He is a strong rebounder and is capable of switching on ball-screens on the defensive end. Blake is a versatile, two-way forward prospect who is ready for a big senior season for Delaware Valley.

[player_tooltip player_id="901964" first="Ryan" last="Zan"], 6’7 PF Rutgers Prep

Zan is primed for a strong 2021-22 season for the Argonauts as he fits in nicely in the offense. The 6’7 forward is comfortable on the perimeter as his range extends out to the three-point line. Zan has a strong frame which he uses to get position down low and finish around the basket. He is an underrated passer and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Zan’s ability to stretch the floor is crucial as it will help his stock in a big way as the season progresses.
