<p><strong>2022 6-1 SG [player_tooltip player_id="1123943" first="KJ" last="Reid"] – Social Circle</strong></p> <p>A steady third quarter from [player_tooltip player_id="1123943" first="KJ" last="Reid"] helped keep the Redskins afloat as they rallied from down 36-21 to storm back and beat rival Walnut Grove 73-61. Reid’s defense led to offense, part of a relentless second half press that suffocated the Warriors. Reid turned three steals into three layups and attacked the rim while his jumper didn’t fall. He had 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Reid shined all offseason as a creator off the bounce that could get to his spots in the mid-range and beyond. He’s a blossoming off guard that should draw college attention.</p> <p><strong>2023 6-0 G Lamarius Jackson – Social Circle</strong></p> <p>The lefty made an immediate impact after sitting out last season. Jackson is a high-motor guard that flies all over the floor. He’s bouncy and loves to crash in for offensive rebounds. Jackson scored on three putbacks, two drives and one step-back three. His 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals were crucial. Jackson netted 11 points in the fourth quarter and is at his best in an up-tempo game.</p> <p><strong>2022 6-1 W Cam Gaither – Social Circle</strong></p> <p>Gaither didn’t have a huge offensive night but his athleticism and toughness shone through. Gaither plays bigger than his size as a rebounder and defender. Offensively he can hit pull-up jumpers when he’s unable to slash all the way to the rim.</p> <p><strong>2024 5-10 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1223263" first="Tyler" last="Jewell"] – Walnut Grove</strong></p> <p>Foul trouble hurt [player_tooltip player_id="1223263" first="Tyler" last="Jewell"], but when he was in the game he put points on the board, scoring 11 off three three-pointers. Jewell has deep range and can shoot off the dribble. When driving lanes present themselves, Jewell can attack and score over length. He has a bright future ahead.</p> <p><strong>2022 6-1 CG [player_tooltip player_id="1183120" first="Demyron" last="Williams"] – Walnut Grove</strong></p> <p>Always in attack mode, Williams hunts his offense. He’s a good shooter that scores the ball from the mid-range. DeMyron has the athleticism and strength to finish at the rim. He is a good rebounder for his size and can guard both guard positions.</p> <p><strong>2022 6-0 G John Knott – Walnut Grove</strong></p> <p>John Knott embraced the moment. He went back and forth with the Social Circle fan section and wore his heart on his sleeve. He has some major bounce and will challenge shot blockers at the basket.</p> <p><strong>2022 6-5 F [player_tooltip player_id="1336999" first="Shawn" last="Walker"] – Walnut Grove</strong></p> <p>The strongly built slasher does his best work from 15-feet and in. Walker dives hard out of screen and rolls and finishes through contact. He’s an aggressive rebounder that plays bigger than his height. Adding a consistent perimeter shot will open up his offensive game.</p>
