Prep Hoops Missouri had its Magical Stream Machine working on Saturday as we watched four games from four different events from around the state.

We took a look at Alton vs. East Carter at the Current River Challenge in Van Buren, University City vs. Fort Zumwalt North in the championship game of the Borgia Turkey Tournament, Vashon vs. Chicago St. Rita at the Kevin Brown Memorial Tournament of Champions in Washington, IL, and Charleston vs. Memphis Day at the River Bend Classic at New Madrid Central.

Here is a look at some of the top standouts from Saturday's games that we watched.

Carlton Thomas 6'5" University City: The 2022 forward had a big performance in leading the Lions to a victory over Fort Zumwalt North in the championship game at Borgia. He had 20 points, seven rebounds and two blocks while going head-to-head with Zumwalt North standout forward [player_tooltip player_id="992317" first="Connor" last="Turnbull"]. He was very active and bouncy around the offensive boards and he threw down three impressive dunks. He also displayed a nice shooting touch from the high post.

[player_tooltip player_id="1362685" first="Kennard" last="Davis"] Jr. 6'6" Vashon: The 2023 small forward was selected the Most Valuable Player of the Washington Invitational Tournament after averaging 16 points and five rebounds for the four games. He displayed his versatile skill set and the ability to score at all three levels. He showed playmaking capability while being able to create his own shot off the dribble. His size and athleticism enabled him to score around the paint as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1303727" first="Brandon" last="DeWolf"] 6'2" Alton: The 2022 guard scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Comets past East Carter at the GRC in Van Buren. DeWolf is an accomplished perimeter shooter with excellent range, but he is starting to emerge as an all-around scorer as he's diversified his game with aggressive drives and short jumpers. He will also get himself to the free throw line.

Koterrion Owens 6'1" Charleston: The undersized 2024 forward scored 15 points in the Bluejays competitive 69-64 loss to a loaded Memphis Day team at New Madrid. The thick-bodied youngster did an excellent job against a Memphis front line that went 6'10, 6'6" and 6'5. He's physically strong and he's mobile with some crafty moves around the basket. He can also step out to the 12-15 foot area to make shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="992317" first="Connor" last="Turnbull"] 6'10" Fort Zumwalt North: The 2022 Butler recruit had 18 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks in the championship game against University City. He picked up early fouls and sat out much of the first quarter. On his return, he looked like his dominant self as he threw down several dunks, controlled the boards and ran the court well. He also showcased a nice baseline shot from 15 feet.

Mason Mosely 5'10 Vashon: The 2023 point guard enjoyed a solid week in earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team in Washington. He was very good on the defensive end with his quickness. In the championship game, he scored in double figures and handled the ball well against pressure. He also came up with big 3-pointers in key parts of the game, which he did throughout the week.
