Preseason ND Class A All-State Teams

<p>It is prediction time! Let’s look at Class A. It is going to be a wild and fun year. Who will be the beast in the East? Who will wreak havoc in the West? Read below to find out...</p> <h3><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Preseason Class A Player of the Year</strong></span></h3> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/treysen.png"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1151524" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/treysen-300x207.png" alt="" width="300" height="207" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1046352" first="Treysen" last="Eaglestaff"] (2022) |6-5 F| Bismarck</strong></p> <p>Last season stats: 23.1 ppg, 6.3 rpg 2.3 apg, 2.7 spg. Tre was All-State and All-WDA last year. He is the most talented and gifted player in Class A. Eaglstaff also has good size and length. He is a gym rat and a tireless worker. Treysen is a pure scorer and a lights-out shooter. Alex was an All-WDA player last season. He is a very quick player with fast-twitch moves. Dvorak is bouncy and he can finish above the rim. Alex can create his own shot in many ways. He was an All-WDA selection last season. This summer at the NDSU team camp, Anthony looked like the best player in the gym. He is a big guard that will be a tough matchup for every team. Doppler is a precision 3-point shooter with stellar form. He can finish with power or finesse. Anthony also has the ability to be a great defender. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="812219" first="Carson" last="Hegerle"] (2022) |6-3 G| West Fargo</strong></p> <p>Last season stats: 18.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 3.2 apg, 2.5 spg. He was All-State and All-EDC last year. Carson and the Packers also won the State Championship. Hegerle is one of the most explosive and dynamic athletes in North Dakota. He is great at slashing and attacking the basket. Carson is almost impossible to stop in the open court. He is an amazing finisher. Conner is a tremendous athlete and his stock has blown up in the past 6 months. He has interest from many D1 programs. Kraft had a great spring/summer in AAU hoops and he showed that he can compete with some of the best talent in the country. He was All-State and All-WDA last year. Darik is a rock-solid all-around player. He is a great athlete and an even better defender. Dissette was one of the best cutters that I watched play last season. His 3-point shooting has improved in the past year and his range is extended. He was an All-EDC player last season. Motschenbacher is a tough and gritty player. He can take over a game in the blink of an eye. He is a crafty and creative finisher. Motschenbacher has some of the best footwork in the state. Sem led the Spartans to the State Tournament last year as a freshman. His dunking and finishing at the rim are unbelievable. Sem is silky smooth and it seems like he can not be stopped at times. He can dominate a game and completely take it over.
