<p>Prep Hoops Missouri continues its preseason conference previews with a look at the Jefferson County Conference. The JCC into two divisions, but we’re combining this preview into one. Festus returns a strong nucleus from a team that won 19 games a year ago. Hillsboro is always a team that contends while St. Pius won a Class 3 district championship last season.</p>
<h4><strong>The Starting Five</strong></h4>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1161283" first="Ahrmad" last="Branch"] 5’11" Festus: A talented 2023 point guard who averaged 15.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, five assists and three steals a game as a sophomore.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1161322" first="Noah" last="Holland"] 6’3" Hillsboro: A 2023 shooting guard who can score from all three levels. He averaged 13 points, three rebounds and three assists a game as a sophomore.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="992309" first="Cole" last="Rickermann"] 6’0" Festus: A 2022 guard who averaged 12 points, four rebounds and three assists a game as a junior. Also a standout quarterback in football.</p>
<p>Logan Chaney 6’5" Windsor: A solid 2022 forward who returns after averaging nine points and seven rebounds a game while shooting 51 percent from the field as a junior.</p>
<p>Nathan Ruble 6’2" St. Pius: A 2022 guard who averaged 11 points and six rebounds a game in helping lead St. Pius to a district championship as a junior.</p>
