<p>Prep Hoops Missouri continues its preseason conference previews with a look at the Big West Conference. It should be a wide open race this season after the graduation of several top-level players from 2021.</p>
<h4>The Starting Five</h4>
<p>Mason Gastel 6’3" Lamar: The 2022 forward was an All-Conference selection last season. He averaged 12 points and seven rebounds a game as a junior.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1150476" first="Teddy" last="Reedybacon"] 6’10" McDonald’s County (pictured): An improving 2022 post player who had a very impressive summer grassroots season after averaging eight points and eight rebounds a game as a junior.</p>
<p>Aidan Cook 6’3" Cassville: A 2023 standout who returns after averaging 12.3 points a game as a sophomore. He earned All-District honors last season.</p>
<p>Pierce Harmon, McDonald’s County: A 2022 standout who was an All-Conference selection last season. He averaged a team-high 12.3 points a game as a sophomore.</p>
<p>Gabe Bergen 6’2" East Newton: A 2022 forward who returns from a team who advanced to the Class 4 state quarterfinals last season. He averaged seven points and four rebounds a game as a junior.</p>
