<p>Prep Hoops Missouri continues its conference previews with a look at the Big 8 East Conference. Springfield Catholic will field a strong team that should contend in Class 5 this season. </p>
<h4>The Starting Lineup</h4>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="991577" first="Zach" last="Howell"] 6’4" Catholic: An All-State 2022 performer who is one of the best perimeter shooters in the state. He averaged 26.8 points and 9.8 rebounds as a junior.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1180548" first="Josh" last="Barlow"] 6’4" Hollister: A 2022 wing player who can get buckets from anywhere. He returns after averaging 20 points and seven rebounds a game as a junior.</p>
<p>Kai Brown 6’1" Mt. Vernon: A 2022 point guard who was an All-Conference selection last season. He averaged 15 points and four assists a game as a junior.</p>
<p>Zach Mings 6’4" Marshfield: An athletic 6'4" junior forward who can score and rebound. He averaged 13.7 points, eight rebounds and three assists a game as a sophomore.</p>
<p>Jaesik Friggle 6’0" Aurora: A talented 2022 guard who earned All-Conference honors last season. He averaged 21 points, eight rebounds and three assists a game as a junior.</p>
