Lebraun Berry Lebraun Berry 6'4" | SF Aiken | 2022 OH (2022) Aiken 6-foot-4 SF
Berry hasn’t had a chance to be the primary guy at Aiken with the guard play there in the past. Now that the two top guards from a year ago are gone, Berry now will tasked with being just that guy. I like his size at the SF position and the combination of athleticism and brute strength. Berry is the top returning scorer from that team and has plenty of opportunity to be a 1st Team All-Conference guy.
Jabari Covington Jabari Covington 6'1" | PG Newport | 2024 State KY (2024) Cincinnati College Prep 5-foot-11 PG
Covington put up an impressive statline for a freshman last year. Covington averaged 17 points and 6 assists per game per the CMAC website but had quite a group of players around him. Graduation has taken much of that talent and forces Covington to increase his role ahead of the upcoming season. Expect similar numbers as he now enters sophomore year as the backcourt leader.
Rayvon Griffith Rayvon Griffith 6'6" | SF AZ Compass Prep | 2023 State #78 Nation AZ (2023) Taft 6-foot-6 SF
Griffith is the state’s best 2023 prospect and for good reason. Freakishly athletic and impactful on both ends, Griffith can simply take over a game with his length and perimeter skills. Can beat guys off the bounce or utilize the midrange/perimeter shot if defended too tight. Creates space and opportunities for himself and has attracted the attention of D1 High Major programs across the country.
Aboubacar Cisse Aboubacar Cisse 6'5" | SF Western Hills | 2022 State OH (2022) Western Hills 6-foot-4 SF
Cisse has been a household name for West High for some time now. With senior year now upon us, it is time for him to show why he is one of Cincinnati’s better players. While he may be undersized for a SF, Cisse plays bigger than he is when possessing the ball on the perimeter. Very quick when going downhill and muscular enough to power through opposing defenders.
Paul McMillan IV Paul McMillan IV 6'2" | PG Woodward | 2022 State #229 Nation OH (2022) Woodward 6-foot-3 PG
McMillan surprised many people returning to Woodward after spending a few months in Arizona with Hillcrest Prep. The Cincinnati standout can straight score the basketball and has shown comfortability doing this in multiple ways. A true slasher, McMillan can finish around the rim and has no issues getting by guys with 1-3 moves. Bound for an All-CMAC finish and maybe POY honors.
