The Junior class rankings have expanded all the way out to nearly 130 players already. This is possibly the best class of prospects since Prep Hoops Kentucky launched. A dozen prospects already have D1 offers and twice that many could have D1 offers a year from now. Here’s a look at the best combo guards in the updated 2023 Rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1022272" first="Hayden" last="Llewellyn"], Corbin - A crafty scorer that is probably the best in game dunker in the 13th region, Hayden had a big Sophomore season after transferring from Jellico, Tennessee. Heading into his Junior campaign, Hayden expects to play on the ball as a creator more but can still do plenty of damage off the ball as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="932782" first="Kenyon" last="Goodin"], Collins - Goodin has been a hot name with high major football teams this fall but should be on the radar for every D1 basketball program in the state and in border states. A talented scoring guard with good size, Kenyon was a standout this summer at the Titans/Rockets shootout and should be one of the best players in the 8th this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="801605" first="Hagan" last="Harrison"], Madison Central - Harrison made the move from Montgomery County to Madison Central this summer and he should thrive without having to carry the scoring burden for a loaded Indians roster. Hagan is strong and athletic and capable of scoring the ball at any spot on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id="1133838" first="Kai" last="Simpson"], Frederick Douglass - One of the biggest stock boosters last season, Simpson decided to reclass to 2023 and is likely better than his current position in the rankings but the 23 class is so loaded with guards, it's hard to slot him in just yet. On the court, Kai could be a 20 point per game scorer this season for a Douglass team that aspires to make a run at Rupp.

[player_tooltip player_id="1111950" first="Cole" last="Mills"], Marshall County - One of the better players in the first region, Mills is highly skilled and can score the ball at all 3 levels. Cole needs to keep adding to his frame to become a better finisher but he should be "the man" for Marshall this season and see a lot more shots come his way as a Junior.

[player_tooltip player_id="1221427" first="Cobi" last="Commodore"], Tates Creek

[player_tooltip player_id="1155608" first="Ethan" last="Cooper"], Garrard County

[player_tooltip player_id="1033473" first="Tylon" last="Webb"], Frederick Douglass
