2022 Top Available Small Forwards

<p>The 2022 class is taking shape with players signing their letters of intent for colleges. Rutgers Prep small forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="901974" first="Donovan" last="Long"]</strong> signed with Manhattan, but the small forward group is still filled with good talent. Here are the top available small forwards in the 2022 class. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1046460" first="Kareem" last="Ewell"], 6’6 Olympus Prep</strong></p> <p>Ewell is the top available small forward in the class and should be a prospect to track moving forward. The 6’6 wing attacks the basket with a purpose and is unafraid of finishing through contact. Ewell is more than just a driver as he has a nice release on his jumper and his range extends out to the three-point line. He is unafraid of hitting big shots in clutch situations as he hit a pair of big-time shots last season for the Patrick School. Ewell is a skilled small forward prospect who is in store for a big 2021-22 season.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="931028" first="Jack" last="Seidler"], 6’5 Marlboro</strong></p> <p>Seidler is one of the top returning prospects in the Shore Conference and is set to put his skillset on full display. The 6’5 forward is at his best attacking the basket where he is a good finisher and can make layups through contact. Seidler can also score in the mid-range and his range extends out to the three-point line. He is a strong rebounder and is an underrated passer. Seidler is ready to lead the way for Marlboro this season as the Mustangs look to be one of the teams to beat in the Shore Conference this season.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902016" first="Mohamed" last="Toure"], 6’6 Hun</strong></p> <p>Toure is set for a strong 2021-22 season as he gets the opportunity to show his all-around skillset. The lanky 6’5 wing can finish above the rim strong and is capable of drawing contact. Toure has a good touch on his free throws and is developing confidence on his perimeter jumper. He is an underrated rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions. Toure is a prospect to watch in Central Jersey as he gets more comfortable in the offense as the season moves on.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="901963" first="Justin" last="Hawkins"], 6’7 Life Center Academy</strong></p> <p>Hawkins is one of the more intriguing prospects in the class as he can impact the game in multiple ways. The 6’7 point forward is capable of running the offense as he is an adept passer and knows how to get his teammates involved in the half court. Hawkins has a strong frame which he uses to finish around the basket through contact. He is capable of hitting open jumpers from behind the arc and is an underrated rebounder. Hawkins’ versatile game is something that will help his stock in a big way as the season progresses.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1012964" first="Joe" last="Carroll"], 6’7 Blair Academy</strong></p> <p>Carroll is capable of playing either the three or the four spot at the next level, which makes him a player to watch this season for the Buccaneers. The 6’7 forward has a smooth shooting stroke and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Carroll is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He fights for rebounds at both ends of the floor and is a good post defender.
