A couple of these athletes will have significantly larger roles either due to openings in the roster or skill development throughout the summer. What each of these guys have in common is their ability to control the pace along with staying consistent both mentally and physically.

looks to turn heads with his playmaking ability and progressing all-around impact. Standing at 6’1 with a 6’4 wingspan, this past season at Thomas Jefferson, Mobasher averaged 12.8 points, 5 rebounds, 2.2 assists per game, and 1.6 steals. He has proven to be a consistent three point shooter off the catch, averaging 38% on 118 attempts between his sophomore and junior seasons. Throughout his performances this summer, Mobasher tested his passing ability with great success, hitting shooters consistently with one handed dimes. Going into this season, I look forward to seeing how Mobasher maximizes his shooting gravity to create for his teammates.

fits the bill. Horizon’s fluid guard does a little bit of everything, averaging 12.2 points, 8.1 boards, 2.6 assists, 2.4 steals, and 1.2 blocks. Nearly 4 stocks a game for a 6’3 guard is quite incredible, but these numbers only tell a fraction of the impact Jimenez has on both ends. Jimenez was unfazed as a lead ballhandler, bringing a steady playmaking duty while never being too high or low on himself. This past season he shot 85% on free throws (20 attempts) while only 31% from three (42 attempts). At a certain point, his three pointer should rise up to the ~35% margin as his distance form shooting catches up.
Jonathan Potts Jonathan Potts 6'2" | CG Smoky Hill | 2022 State CO – Smoky Hill High School
A natural athlete, Jonathan Potts Jonathan Potts 6'2" | CG Smoky Hill | 2022 State CO looks to increase his offensive ceiling this upcoming season after proving he is a menace on the defensive end. This past season, Potts averaged 8.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1 steal per game. While percentages are not available, nearly one third of his total points (143) came beyond the arc (15 makes). As a complementary shooter, Potts looks to double down on this consistency from downtown. Within full court situations, he is very quick which allows him easy buckets by simply outrunning the opposition. Similar to Remy Wedgeworth Remy Wedgeworth 6'0" | PG Overland | 2022 State CO , Potts does great moving off-ball and providing dependable spacing around the creators this roster deploys night by night.

looks to put an emphasis on leadership and maximizing his shot-making off-ball. Traditionally a football athlete, Wedgeworth has made a role for himself by competing on defense and maximizing his quickness as an off-ball cutter. This past season he averaged 7.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 steals. While these stats do not jump out, Wedgeworth’s effect on the court can hardly be measured by numbers. He does what is best for the team, usually through dirty work like boxing out, fighting for loose balls, and hard closeouts. He may fit the glue guy mold as of last season, however this is a new year and Wedgeworth will have all the opportunity to prove us wrong.
