With recent commitments from [player_tooltip player_id="682266" first="Josh" last="Dix"] (Iowa), [player_tooltip player_id="784982" first="Steven" last="Kramer"] (South Dakota), and [player_tooltip player_id="682270" first="Cole" last="Glasgow"] (UMKC), only four of the top 10 in the Class of 2022 remain uncommitted. Here we’ll take a look at the top ten available players in the class.

(4) [player_tooltip player_id="1158260" first="Ruot" last="Bijiek"] | PF | Valley
Offers: Arkansas, Hampton, Nebraska, Western Illinois, IPFW, UC Santa Barbara

A modern-day stretch-4, Bijiek knocked down 39.5% of his 3-point attempts last season for the Tigers and blocked nearly two shots a game. His ability to stretch the floor, finish above the rim, and protect the paint defensively make him a coveted prospect at the next level. He'll need to continue to smooth out his ball-handling if he's going to transition to the perimeter at the next level, but with his 6-9 frame and superior length, he may not have to.

(7) [player_tooltip player_id="682289" first="Jevin" last="Sullivan"] | SG | North Polk
Offers: Truman State, Augustana (SD), UMKC, William Penn

Sullivan is a two-guard who is built like a linebacker, and he uses that big, physical frame to bully his way to the rim for easy buckets routinely. He has great footwork around the rim and is an excellent finisher with either hand. His efficiency numbers suffer a bit as he has to carry a huge chunk of the scoring for his high school team, but he's a knockdown shooter with a pure stroke as well. He crashes the glass hard on both ends of the floor, can use his length to be an effective defender, and has delivered some massive performances in his biggest games on the grassroots circuit. Also a high GPA student, Sullivan will be a great fit at whichever school lands him.

(9) [player_tooltip player_id="1158261" first="Peter" last="Moe"] | PF | Iowa City West
Offers: Minnesota State

The son of former Hawkeye Jeff Moe, Peter is a springy 6-9 combo forward who can stretch the floor, take bigger defenders off the bounce and get to the rim for finishes with either hand or post up smaller defenders and score on the block with ease, using excellent footwork and touch. He averaged 21.9 points a game with 54-39-81 shooting splits and also added 8.5 rebounds a game to that. He's had a number of mid-major-level programs keeping tabs on him, and with his offensive skill-set, it seems to be a no-brainer. He's a highly gifted scorer with size.

(10) [player_tooltip player_id="682278" first="Trey" last="Lewis"] | PG | Johnston
Offers: Truman State, Drury

A talented lead guard with great handles and limitless range, Lewis averaged 12.6 points a game and shot 39.3% from behind the arc in helping lead the Dragons to a runner-up finish in 4A. The question with Lewis has always been size, and while he's never going to be the 6-4 lead guard that some schools prioritize, he's filled out his frame nicely, adding some strength which allows him to finish more efficiently around the rim. He's quick, does a great job changing speeds to help get by defenders, and he's a knockdown shooter.

(11) [player_tooltip player_id="962491" first="Ashton" last="Hermann"] | SG | Ballard
Offers: Wayne State, Mount Marty, Dordt

Hermann is one of the better two-way guards in the state, a lightning-quick 6-2 guard with length that he uses effectively on the defensive end. He's an explosive athlete who finishes above the rim, does an excellent job playing passing lanes and choosing his spots, and can turn defense into offense in the blink of an eye. He's a streaky shooter, but when he gets it going he's capable of making several 3s in a row, and he's one of the few players in the state capable of dropping 15-18 points in any given quarter.

(14) [player_tooltip player_id="1055294" first="Cameron" last="Fens"] | C | Hempstead
Offers: Upper Iowa, Morningside

Fens is a big body in the paint and a solid defender who can protect the rim or defend the pick-and-roll effectively. He does a good job hedging the ball screen and getting back to his man quickly, and he's not lost if he gets switched onto the ball-handler. Offensively, his game is still a work in progress, but he has good hands and solid footwork. A 6-10 big who rebounds and defends is valuable, and if he adds more to his offensive skill-set, he could turn into a big-time steal for whichever program is able to snag him.

(16) [player_tooltip player_id="682291" first="Armonniey" last="Thomas"] | PG | Marshalltown
Offers: Florida International

Thomas is a hyper-athletic and long 6-0 guard who impacts the game on both ends of the floor with his athleticism, length, and quickness. He's not a great shooter, but is able to get to the rim at will, using a quick first step and excellent ball-handling abilities to blow by his defender and finish at the bucket. He sees the floor well and is a good passer, although he needs to cut down on the turnovers. He's a big-game player who scored 24 points on 10-17 shooting in a narrow substate semifinal loss to Waukee, the closest game the Warriors played in the postseason.

(18) [player_tooltip player_id="682292" first="Carson" last="Toebe"] | PG | Clear Lake
Offers: No known offers

Toebe is a talented combo guard who can do whatever you need from him. If you need him to be a distributor, he's more than capable of doing that, using his size and talent to put his teammates in positions to succeed. If you need him to be a scorer, he's a tough shotmaker who can score from all three levels, using his frame to bully his way to the rim or showing a silky smooth jumper. His efficiency numbers weren't great last season, but he was asked to do a ton offensively for the Lions. He's a much better shooter than his 34.6% from the arc last year showed, and if he's able to play alongside similarly talented players, there is plenty of reason to believe he's a 40%+ 3-point shooter.

(19) [player_tooltip player_id="682268" first="Zach" last="Erwin"] | SF | Camanche
Offers: Kirkwood

Erwin is an intriguing prospect because of his ability to do a little bit of everything on the floor. Do you need a reliable ball-handler and decision-maker? Erwin can do that. Do you need someone who can defend multiple positions? Erwin can do that. Do you need someone who can break down a defense and get to the rim for a bucket? Erwin can do that. He's a versatile athlete who does everything well and is the type of hard-nosed, physical wing who will make all the winning plays that you need.

(20) [player_tooltip player_id="682284" first="Karter" last="Petzenhauser"] | SG | Spencer
Offers: No known offers

A physical and athletic 6-2 wing, Petzenhauser is a big-time scorer who has compiled over 1,200 points in his high school career. He's a versatile three-level scorer who posted impressive 55-39-75 shooting splits as a junior while putting up over 23 points a night. He has really improved his ball-handling, which has helped with his ability to create his own shot as well as get looks for others.
