Birkholz no doubt had one of the more impressive summer AAU seasons on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Playing for the Wisconsin Crusaders, there were multiple occasions where Birkholz would simply refuse to let his team lose. The shooting guard is a smooth operator who can score efficiently at all three levels. He is a versatile, tough prospect that any college program would be lucky to have.

Shakur really broke out this past summer while playing for Wisconsin Playground Club on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The Martin Luther combo guard is a tremendous ball handler that has shown an ability to use his handles to get past defenders. Shakur also has really good court vision, as he rarely misses an open teammate. I believe that Shakur would be a great addition to a college program in search of a guard that can effectively distribute the ball

— Fond Du Lac — SG
Fond Du Lac has a really special player in Dalton and I think that a lot of people will realize it by the end of this season. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard is an incredible slasher that defenders have a really tough time staying in front of. Once he gets to the rim, Dalton pairs athleticism and creativity. He always finds ways to finish through or around contact.
Logan Arndt

Arndt is a scrappy shooting guard that always leaves it all on the floor. On defense, Arndt is more than willing to step up and guard the opposing team’s best player — most times, doing very well. And on offense, Arndt is no slouch. He is an effective three-level scorer who has a knack for knocking down timely shots. He might not have the top-end athleticism that some of his peers have, however, Arndt is not limited by this in any facet of the game.
William Whorton

— Milwaukee King — PF
Whorton is a prospect that has what seems like endless potential. Standing at 6-foot-8 with long arms, the power forward no doubt has some rough edges in his game. But what he lacks in skill, he makes up for with incredible physical attributes. He is very athletic and can be a really difficult assignment for any defender. In the paint, Whorton is able to rebound, block shots, and score. If he continues to round out his game and improve, the King power forward will find himself with multiple college scholarships.

— Newman Catholic — SG
Prey is a well-rounded prospect that has proven time and time again that he is one of the better players in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. The Newman Catholic shooting guard simply gets the job done. He is solid everywhere, rarely showing any weakness in any part of his game. As a sophomore, he tallied 13.9 points per game. I expect Prey to continue to improve, and with his improvement, college coaches will begin to take notice of Prey’s skill.

WI
— Kenosha Tremper — SF
Starks has been a prospect that has seen his stock steadily rise over the past couple of AAU seasons. This past summer, I was really impressed with the small forward’s ability to dominate the paint. Standing at around 6-foot-4, Starks is able to use his height and athletic ability to grab offensive rebounds and finish contested layups. Look for Starks to pack the stat sheet this season at Kenosha Tremper.

Perhaps there was no Wisconsin prospect who saw his stock rise more in the spring and summer than Robinson. The Waukesha South combo guard is a two-level player that is capable of taking a game over. He is a sniper from long range and also a crafty slasher that defenders have a tough time slowing down. On defense, he is a smart player that uses his speed and quick hands to deflect passes and get steals.

— Kenosha Bradford — PG
College programs in search of a do-it-all point guard, look no further than Kenosha Bradford’s Young. Young is a versatile point guard that can score, pass, and defend. With the ball in his hands, Young is a tremendous ball handler that is able to either drive and dish, or drive and score himself. He is one of the fastest prospects in the state and he uses his speed to keep opposing defenders on their toes.
Tyran Cook

On offense, Cook has developed into a real problem for opposing defenders. The score-first combo guard is an aggressive attacker that can score really well when he gets downhill. He has a strong build, which allows him to drive through defenders en route to layups. As a sophomore at Waukesha South, Cook led his squad in scoring with 18.2 points per contest. And if this summer was an indicator, he is prepared to do even more damage as a junior.
