<p>Section Xi in Suffolk County is the public high school league on Long Island. Here are our first group of 8 players who made the cut. No particular order.</p>
<p><strong>Derek Schecter. 5”9. 2023. Mount Sinai HS</strong></p>
<p>Exceptional skill set. Really good with the ball in his hands.Great court vision. Elite three-point shooter.</p>
<p><strong>Jon Borkowski. 5”11. 2022 Kings Park HS</strong></p>
<p>Excellent on the ball defender. Capable of consistently hitting the open three. Good with the ball in his hands.</p>
<p><strong>Javin Riddick 6”0. 2022. Bellport HS</strong></p>
<p>Explosive first step. Extremely quick to the basket. Head is always up looking to make a play. Outstanding shooter.</p>
<p><strong>Bobby Seeley 6”1. 2022. Mount Sinai HS</strong></p>
<p>Very skilled combo guard. Strong handle, very hard to knock off the ball. Solid mid-range game.</p>

<p>A do it all guard. Very athletic. Tough defender. A student of the game.</p>
<p><strong>Nick Waga. 6”0. 2024. Commack HS</strong></p>
<p>Very good in the open floor. Great court vision. Has fine leadership qualities at a young age. A playmaking point guard.</p>
<p><strong>Thomas Frycek. 5”10. 2023. Mount Sinai HS</strong></p>
<p>Can play either guard position. Coach usually has him guarding the best player. Great defender. Very talented scorer.</p>

<p>Old school player, constantly moving without the ball. Excellent catch and shoot player. Comes off of screens ready to shoot.</p>
