I decided to catch the Reps on Reps Showcase at Atlantic Coast High School in Jacksonville. It was a two-day event that featured a combine on Saturday with a showcase on Sunday. There were approximately 30 high school senior prospects taking part in the showcase. All seniors are in the picture. Here are a few guys that stood out to me.

Arguably had the best overall performance on the day. Gee was in constant attack mode. His ability to defend multiple positions was on display. He consistently got to his spots and finished strong around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="1065410" first="Stephon" last="Payne"] l 6-10 l Andrew Jackson
Displayed his versatility to rebound the ball and push in transition. He crashed the glass, finished around the rim. He is ready to take the next step for Jackson as they gear up for another visit to Lakeland.

Rahim Alvarade l 6-7 l Potter’s House
Alvarade has a college-ready frame showed his ability to be effective in the paint. He blocked shots, finished around the rim, and rebounded effectively. Respectable perimeter shot as well.

Demarion Riley l 6-4 l First Coast
He is an athlete that had it going on the day. He got inside at will and finished multiple times with many different moves around the basket. He is a microwave when it comes to scoring. He showed his ability to shoot beyond the 3 point line as well. It will be an underrated backcourt tandem with him and Jeremiah Waldburg.

[player_tooltip player_id="1258508" first="Abraham" last="Garjah"] l 5-9 l Paxon
He was a sleeper pick to succeed for the showcase; Garjah did not disappoint. Garjah is a terror on the defensive side. Garjah had some acrobatic finishes and a few rim rockers as well. Not an easy matchup at all; guards beware.

[player_tooltip player_id="546242" first="Jalen" last="Gilmore"] l 6-3 l Bishop Snyder
Gilmore played with pace every game I saw him play, as always. He was in complete control. Consistently made the right play by either finishing at the rim or making the accurate pass on the dribble penetration for the score.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164182" first="Kevin" last="Odom"] l 5-8 l Andrew Jackson
Most would write him off for being undersized, but his play would show you differently. His perimeter shot was on. Odom hit a barrage of threes on the day. I love the fact he does not let his size dictate his game. The young man rebounds well and gets after it defensively. He is scrappy as they come defensively.
